Peaceful & Secluded Nantahala getaway

Paradise Ridge sits on 30 acres in the heart of the Nantahala National Forest. This site was created with privacy and beauty in mind.

Prepare to Unplug, Relax and Unwind!! (There is no WIFI and the cell phone service is spotty) Remote location.

Enjoy the simple pleasures of being surrounded by nature. A fresh mountain breeze and tall trees. Recharge and rejuvenate.

Only 30 minutes away from shopping and dining.
The space
Fall in love with Camping and reconnect with Mother Nature.

This glamping site is very remote, secluded, peaceful, cozy and clean. This space is designed for 2 guests only. (No children under the age of 12 are allowed)

Paradise Ridge guests are very special! In order to make this space private, it meant that we would have to put the camp site on the ridgeline of the mountains. The camp site is accessible via hiking, 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicles.

We are happy to take our guests and all of their belongings up to the camper upon arrival and departure. We are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible, so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

You will be asked to park at our house and hike in and out during your stay. The trail is approximately 1/4 of a mile, which a hiker in good condition can do in approximately 5 minutes one way. If you have 4x4 or all wheel you will be able to park at the camper.

Enjoy sitting by the fire in the evening. (We supply the firewood) The stars are spectacular in the mountains.

We have created a covered outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. Cook in the outdoor kitchen and enjoy the beauty this space has to offer. Rest and relax in our large rocking chairs or play a few of our outdoor games.

Enjoy breakfast on us!! Fresh farm eggs, coffee and tea.

The climate is mild. We have a lot of cool evenings and usually a nice breeze. Apple Tree Creek runs through our property and our community was once called "Happy Top" Elevation is approximately 3400 ft.

You are in the Mountains so be prepared to encounter wildlife (Deer, Turkey, Bear, Bobcats, Coyotes, racoons, snakes, etc.), bugs, spiders and toxic plants. We recommend that you bring: Hiking boots, bug spray, flashlights, walking/hiking sticks, a jacket for the cool nights and slippers or house shoes for inside the camper and don't forget your camera.

We deep clean between every guest.

We look forward to meeting new guests and we are grateful for repeat guests! We hope you enjoy your stay.
Guest access
Complete and exclusive access to the Camper and the site.
Other things to note
You are not required to have 4x4 to stay at Paradise Ridge! Our guests can park at our house and hike in and out during their stay. We are here to help you up to the camper with all your belongings upon your arrive and departure.

Please be prepared for the hike up the mountain to the camper with the proper shoes, rain gear, lights, etc. You will be asked to hike in and out during your stay.

Quiet and Peaceful
This stay was nice. There are a few houses nearby, however it is still pretty secluded. The camper has everything you would need for a successful stay. We didn’t need to use everything provided since staying for one night. Ben and Christine are very nice hosts.

Awesome stay in RV
My son and I had a wonderful adventure staying at the RV. Everything was perfect and anything that you needed to cook excellent meals was accounted for such as pots, pans and outdoor grilling options. The RV was very cozy and an exoplanet to unwind

Private camping in like new camper
The campsite the host has built is very nice with a rock covered area with a fire pit and an attractive outdoor mat. A large rain proof roof shelter covers the camper and the outdoor kitchen. Outside grill, stove, toaster oven and refrigerator. The camper is like new and was very clean. The camper is on a full hook up. The site is completely secluded. The road up to the property is Wayah rd, it follows the Nantahayla river and is one of the best drives around. I spent 5 days and put 700 miles on the Indian Scout, riding the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway and much more.
