"The Schindler was an amazing place to stay. The staff was very friendly and knew you by name within the first day. A very small boutique hotel with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The included breakfast was amazing every day with eggs to order and any type of coffee you could think of. I also suggest having dinner here atleast one night as the food was exceptional. If I ever find myself back in this part of Austria I will be sure to book a stay again."

"If you’re looking for “fancy,” this is not it. If instead you are looking for something homey, charming, and authentically Bavarian, this is excellent. Three other details: First, it’s worth noting that this is not remote, like the pictures might make you think; it’s on the main road that passes through the town, and there is mild noise of cars with your window open. Second, the pool is a community pool about a 20 minute walk away in the same small town. It’s very nice, and I recommend it....

"Amazing location. Ours was a quadruple room. Balcony all around with garden and mountain views. The property does not have reception for check in. You need to go to another nearby hotel to check in and get the keys. But the owners worked with us to do an online check in, the previous day, and left the key for us at the location in a secure box. "We had a fantastic stay at the Ameron Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort. The room was absolutely beautiful—elegantly designed, comfortable, and with breathtaking views of the Alpsee. The staff went above and beyond, especially Tomy at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. Breakfast each morning was a treat—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety. Highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting this area."

Fabulous hotel unbelievable location!

"The hotel was very clean the lady at the front desk Sabine was one of the kindest women ever knowledgeable helpful and a delight to talk to. Any questions we had about the area she was happy to answer a wealth of information.. The shower was good we had a room with a balcony to do was great and it was very roomy. We're both not sure about those square pillows lol but that was a minor inconvenience. The restaurant at night was excellent and the breakfast was very good. But on top of all this you could not find a better location to see both castles on this one. Everything is literally across the street or less than a half a block away."

Cozy Bavarian Experience

"This hotel was like staying with your favorite Bavarian auntie. The common areas were full of history about the hotel. The balcony is open for guest to sit and enjoy the views. The decor was cozy and charming and will always be part of my memories of this trip. Staff was great, breakfast was great. They also had parking. "
