"It was very difficult finding the hotel. We finally ran into a local that showed us where it was at. Room was great. We needed to just ready for a few hours before traveling on to Masada. When we left at 3AM we ran into locked gates. We felt trapped and no way to get out. We called number and no answer. We finally went back to hotel and got the owner to answer and then he opened the gate for us. "

"We arrived to find no one in Reception at 5pm, and only a number to call. Annoying after a 3 hour trip. There was no working wifi, although they said they had it, and only a cold shower. Torture. Very simple room. Two beds, nowhere to put our things - no closet, no shelving. For $200 a night that's not acceptable. "

Location was on the top of a hill with views of the valley and the Gilboa hills. Beautiful short hiking trails right near the room. Room was very clean and inviting. "We stayed one night with our 3 kids. the room was renovated and nice, could use a rug, since the floor was cold. There were beds for 5 and a sofa that opens for one more if needed. Plenty of bed linens as well. Cons- no dishes in the kitchenette, and the microwave had nowhere to plug it it. we had to move it and it was heavy. Great area with lots to do. nice country club style indoor pool ( Beit Eyal) with an extra nominal fee ( 30 Shekels per person)"

"We came at 6:15 pm when confirmation letter said check-in is till 7 PM. NOBODY was there, reception locked with a sign OPEN. Tried to find anybody, no luck. Booked another hotel and went there. Need our money back. El Mul must let people know that they are a kibutz, not a hotel. That makes a slight difference. Other kibutzim are stating that in their title."
