(This is an apartment built below a larger home, so keep in mind you will hear traffic upstairs when guests are there). From the moment you walk through the front door of the brand-new mezzanine floor of this breathtaking home, you will be wowed by the impressive workmanship and ocean views. With its separate entrance and parking, you will feel the privacy and relaxation that is so inviting about coming to the Oregon Coast.

Curl up with a captivating novel in the warm and inviting living room or enjoy a movie on the large smart TV with a fire crackling in the gas-burning fireplace. Relax each night in the amazingly comfortable king size bed.

The beach in Oceanside offers a dramatic playground for exploring tide pools full of sea life, surfing, boogie boarding, searching for seashell treasures, building sandcastles and don’t forget about the 3 Arch Rocks that provide a stunning background for the sunsets each evening. The stream that empties into the ocean nearby provides a sheltered setting for little ones to play in the sand and water.

The place is spacious and new. Very comfortable. Loved the fireplace and huge windows. So nice to walk on the nearby beach. Close to Tillamook for more dining options. We had a great stay. The house manager is super responsive.

I am kind of a brat, and I could not love this studio apartment, and Sarah the property manager, any more than I already do. I am STILL giddy with happy about my time there. Highly recommend. Don’t take my time slots. Yes you will hear kid footsteps. Sarah was fantastic. 💞

Great location, can walk to the beach in about 10-15 minutes (it’s quite a hill to get back up to the property on the return). The Blue Agate cafe has great food especially breakfast time and the walk is the same as going to the beach. The only negative remarks is really towards who they use for housekeeper, the cleanliness could have had more attention especially with the kitchen items. The espresso machine pieces used to make the espresso was filthy with left over remnants from previous uses, cooking pans and drinking glasses with food stuck to them. Overall was a good stay just wished I didn’t have to wash things before I needed to use them

Loved this place, it was so cute/modern and was a great spot for my wife and me. We commented that it could have held another few people very comfortably. We did hear quite a bit of foot steps as this is below another unit but that was the only 'issue' to speak of (which wasn't a real issue to us). You can see some of the coast line (there is another house between you and the beach) which is a fun way to wake up in the morning! Sarah was great to work with, 6 stars! I'd happily stay here again!

A tale of neighbors and customer service...
During our stay we enjoyed two sets of upstairs neighbors. Group one...clog dancing dog trainers... Group two...the rest of us. Our property manager suggested that I utilize the provided sound machine to increase the noise level and mask the noise from upstairs. She stated this would solve "my problem". :-) This property is nicely appointed and if you don't mind gambling on your upstairs neighbor's manners, go for it.

Great Apartment
The apartment was great, meticulously clean, wonderful bed, linens, pillows, fully stocked kitchen appliances. Views out the window were beautiful, little town it is located in is quaint, but restaurants were not open until Thurs or Fri through the weekend. We had to drive into Tillamook a lot for meals. The tunnel down on the local beach was a treat! When I read the posting, it did mention that if the home above the apartment was rented you could hear those renters walking around. So we expected that. However, what we did not expect was multifamily renters, with 6 kids under the age of 12 or so running around jumping at all hours. They would throw stuff over the balcony onto our car, run up and down the stairs continuously, past the quiet time of 10pm, sometimes until midnight. The sound machine provided helped, but not always. Since there is no cell service, we could not contact the property manager, tried sending texts but they would not go through. The only way you can communicate is via facebook messenger. So we were on our own. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Reviewer Comments: The place is in a great location with a beautiful view (though power lines and a portion of another house’s roof disrupts it a bit) and it’s larger than it looks in the photographs, very spacious. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Instructions for appliances and the TV could have been more clear and the addition of a few items, such as a coat hook or stand and a coffee table would have been nice. Sarah, the manager, was fantastic: she texted to let us know early check-in was available, responded to questions immediately and came over to help us get the stove and oven working (it’s simple but not obvious). We did miss having a deck or anyplace to sit outside the unit but it’s a short walk to the beach (and great exercise).

Lovely spot
It seems newly renovated/built -- if it's not, they take amazing care with it. It's basically one large room with adjoining kitchen and bathroom, segmented into bedroom, den, and dining areas. A great base of operations for Oceanside since everything is in walking distance. Very comfy. Only quibbles: - the smart lock on the front door worked perfectly but always required two activations. No idea why. - the induction cooktop would often not recognize my finger press, so heating the kettle sometimes took 2 or 3 or 20 attempts to get the element going. - there's a cool BlueTooth enabled Yamaha receiver (and giant TV with surround sound), but I could never get my phone to pair with the receiver. Likely user error on my part. - a fan to generate a breeze would be a welcome addition

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay at 1875 Maxwell Rd (The lower unit) - was very nice. The space is well appointed, the view is OK (not what you might expect for a place in Oceanside but also not bad - there are many old telephone wires blocking the view, and the Lower unit is just too "low" on the building for a truly great view as the home down in front takes up most of the skyline. But still, you can see the Cape and Netarts Bay... so I might be nitpicking here). :)The interior design and finish are second to none - it has the best kitchen I have seen in any vacation rental in the Northwest... and I travel a fair amount. If you plan to cook for yourself (which is necessary in this area since there are Zero decent restaurants anywhere nearby) then you will love it. I will come back just for the kitchen. :)Lounging about after a full day at the beach (which is uncrowded and not far) is quite comfortable. Excellent media system, I was able to easily plug in my own YouTube Premium account (and delete it later) so all my usual distractions were close at hand in the evening or when the clouds rolled in.This home is far more elegant and impressive than most people's actual home - so it is to be savored for that. Stay a few days, explore the Cape Meares and 3 Capes area - this home will be your luxurious Home Base.

The cleanliness of the wasn’t horrible but I feel if someone or a company is being paid to do the job, I would say there’s room for improvement especially spider webs and the carcasses they leave behind mainly in bathroom but also in kitchen where garbage can sits. It seemed almost everything we went to use in the kitchen (drinking glasses, dishes, pots and pans) needed washed before using (dried on food from previous use). We didn’t use the espresso machine because it was left dirty. Went to bbq but no propane. The bed was comfortable and pillows were great. Couch was comfortable too but some of the cushion pillows had a dried white substance on a couple of them and I didn’t want even think what it could be. I’ve rented a lot of places through the years and I would say the housekeeper(s) getting paid to clean this property should have these concerns to their attention.

Reviewer Comments: absolutely my favorite vacation rental yet! i was looking for a peaceful retreat to spend my birthday, & i definitely hit the jackpot here. from booking, to communicating with the owner & property manager (sarah), to the condition of the home...i couldn't have asked for a better experience! the home was absolutely immaculate, i spent most of my time making espresso drinks & catching the views from the couch & daybed ;) i love music & brought my own bluetooth speaker, so i rarely noticed any noise from the rental above. i was very grateful that sarah was able to get the home ready so i could check in earlier on friday, & even allowed me to check out late on monday. i will definitely be returning & recommending this property to my friends :)

Great property … no Verizon coverage
This property is stellar. Perfect space for our family of three. Beach access is a hike no question, but good hoof up the hill was a good way to start or end the day. Kitchen was highly functional had everything you need. Bed was comfy and space was plentiful for lounging. Internet was consistent but limited my wife and I worked two days and two network connections and wifi calling on phones definitely had some limitations but it worked. No Verizon coverage at all at the property and limited up and down the cost from here.

Beach Time!
The whole experience was amazing. The house is so clean, the espresso machine was a huge hit for my mom and I! We loved every bit of our stay. The property manager was very prompt with replies. Only a few suggestions. Some throw blankets for the couch, maybe a foot stool and a little bistro table outside for morning coffee and evening wine! Thank you so much for a beautiful stay.
