The hosts are so wonderful and friendly!

The food in their restaurant was less to be desired. Their private island was closed and as a guest of the hotel we are charged a fee upon checkin which is an additional fee to the reservations for items related to visiting the private island I.e., beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boat taxi service to and from the island. We were charged the full price even though the hotel had closed the island.

If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas of interest. The most relaxing vacation I have ever taken. It’s not for those who like crowded cruise ships and smoky casinos. This place is for those who love the pure beauty of the exumas
