"I stay at this hotel once a year when I come to Scranton. I’ve been doing this for 23 years. The hotel is consistently clean and quiet . The staff friendly is friendly. The restaurant (Carmen’s) is very good, although it’s only open for dinner on the weekends. The hotel lobby and first floor have retained its charm from the early 20th century. "

"The property was clean and modern. They were intentional about the need for relaxation. The pool was closed to children after 5:00pm. The floor that I stayed on was a 21 and over floor. My only suggestions are to offer (wine coolers and champagne) in the concierge room for people that don’t drink beer. I would also suggest a microwave be somewhere in the building. "

From exciting water slides to the relaxing lazy river, the kids were in heaven the entire trip. We loved that we could do everything without ever leaving the resort — breakfast and dining were convenient and tasty, and snow tubing was such a fun surprise that added a wintery thrill to our spring stay!
