"The service is wonderful and the lobby and gym are amazing. The rooms are very comfortable but are tired and dated. Peeling wall paper, light switches from the 1960’s, dated furniture, stand along mini fridge from my college dorm room, bathroom tile that has been there probably 50 years, drilled into and patched many times, etc…. You get the idea. It’s an historic hotel, but the rooms aren’t antique or quaint. They’re just old and desperately need a redo. "

"We had a lovely view of the river, especially of the city lights at night. The hotel was clean, the bed was especially comfortable, and the staff were lovely. The nearest metro station was a short walk away and there were plenty of dining options nearby. Can't wait to stay here again!"
