"We were so happy with our accommodation. Our room was spacious, very clean & modern and so comfortable, and was the closest to beach front. Felt very spoilt. There was a private balcony with outdoor furniture inviting us to just sit and relax overlooking the most beautiful view of the bay and Tairau on the opposite side. And we did. Just magic! Tairua is a short drive away with cafes and shops. A very pretty town between mountains and the bay and sea. Awesome walks on the beach just steps away. Can't say enough about Paku Lodge Resort. Would love to stay there again should we visit the area again. Just a note that the reception office is closed until 2pm, check in time."

"Shared kitchen Laundry facility Cute cabins 10 min walk to hotwater beach Comfortable cabins with out door seating on the deck. Heated towel rack in bathroom. Top bunk bed had sandy (dirty) sheets Need better signage to the beach. Other than that loved our stay, next time we would stay at least 2 days."

"Pacific Harbor Villas were a convenient location to experience the area. Cabin like accommodation could have you think you were in your very own Hobbit house. There is a wonderful cafe directly across the st, with amazing breakfast! I caught a organised bus from here up North to a music festival. Lots of other food options nearby."

"The house was well equipped to accomodate our family of 6 adults. Lovely location just 10 minute stroll to the township and beach. Estuary just a few metres away. Clean, comfortable house. Nice eateries nearby also."
