"The moonstone is absolutely beautiful spacious and homely. The host Barry was on hand and he was very helpful . The area is so peaceful looking out over the fields we saw some red deer . We have all throughly enjoyed our stay. The bed were very comfortable. I slept on the pull out sofa bed one night as my daughter wasn't feeling well and i found it comfortable and slept well. "The hosts bent over backwards to personalise our stay, whilst respecting our privacy. From the homemade tablet, pancakes and artwork to the birthday balloons and beers, we had a lovely break. The cabin has everything you need, and the hot tub is fantastic to soak in under the stars. We just wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. "We had the loveliest Christmas at Manslea house! The house itself is amazing - it’s huge, with enough rooms for our 11 family members to stay and relax in comfort. We had elderly parents in their late 80s, young adults and middle aged folk, plus a toddler and a 10 year old- and they all loved it. "Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!"
