"I cannot say enough good things about Kijani and its amazing staff. Tito and his team were all very welcoming, warm and personable, and always went above and beyond for their guests. The place in itself is beautiful, airy and peaceful, beautifully designed and centrally located. The food was amazing and everything was so fresh. It's been over 30 years since I've been back in Kenya and our stay in Kijani was the perfect homecoming. I look forward to returning to Lamu and know that Kijani will be the place we'll set up base at. I'd say it felt like a home away from home, but it was better than that. Thank you so much to everyone there, you all are the very best. "

"Had a wonderful stay, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. One thing to bear in mind is that this location is in the town centre and not near Shella beach - it's either a 40 mins walk or a 15 minute boat ride. There is also no aircon on the island so it's just fans."
