"The location is convenient to the freeway. The staff was friendly and helpful when I checked in. Our room was clean but overall the room ans hotel feels old and dated. Our room had a musty odor as well. We requested a “dog friendly” room so that may have been the reason for the smell. I did appreciate the ground floor room with slider for easy access to take our dog outside. "

"Indoor pool & hot tub open til 1am, complimentary breakfast was great, service was excellent, & they even let me do late check-out at 12p for no extra cost. The Stratford Inn is themed around the Ashland Shakespeare Festival & the building itself is historical, so it isn't like...super fancy or "modern". It has character. They have a whole cafeteria where they serve breakfast in the morning with lots of tables, chairs, and windows as well as a cute little outdoor patio area for in the summer...

"We stayed here while visiting our son who attends SOU. While the lodge is outdated, it’s welcoming, cozy, and the room was very clean. It is everything you would expect from an older log cabin type of hotel. It was snowing and I felt the accommodations were appreciated. The continental breakfast was less than mid, but this is not a deal breaker. We had a wonderful time. "
