"Barsala provided a great apartment for rent for a few days at a good price. The process can be more stream-lined for the future. Their website had trouble using my phone's camera (even after granting permissions) to verify I was the person on my driver's license. I had to do the authentication process on my laptop with my webcam. They also use an app called Latch to provide access to the door lock. "I stayed here while doing some antiquing nearby. It was nicely suited to my needs, which was basically just a place to crash at night and have coffee in the morning! The river nearby is really lovely and the sound of the waterfall is so nice. You will also hear some road noise, just FYI. It's a cozy space but fairly utilitarian. The bed is super comfy but if you like a full pillow, pack your own. Would likely stay again -- it's a solid value. "

"This is my second time staying at this location and I fall in love each time. Cool breezy mornings, fresh air and stunning sunsets were a part of my stay daily. For those who like to exercise, the long country road is serene and safe (2 or 3 cars came through on my 1 hour walk). The accommodations fulfill every need. If only for 1 night, I suggest you stay here, and I guarantee; you will rebook. Thank you to the owners for the hospitality and conversations. 5-stars."

"My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary of when we meet with this rental of a cabin in the woods! It was very cozy and we enjoyed it so much. The beds were great. The porch was nice. The couch was terrible. I would suggest investing in a comfortable couch for guests who like to chill and watch tv! But we made it work and were glad to have this place to stay for the weekend. The owners communicated with us very well. "

"Well just as in any hotel I had issues with the immediate next door neighbors.. the young kids yelled screamed and played loud games with a loud TV from 12AM- 5:30AM in the morning…was not sure of the protocol to complain at night but was moved to another great room the following morning….other than the one night of noise I had a great stay and the staff was excellent…Happy New Year!
