I loved the history attached to this heritage hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the train station. There is a bar and bistro with good pub food and it is right in the heart of ThaiTown. The laundry was a bonus for travellers.

I've now stayed here three times and the experience has been very consistent - clean, quiet, secure rooms, excellent service from staff and very convenient to light rail, train, Paddy's Markets, Chinatown and Darling Harbour. You won't get views or luxurious accommodation, but as a women travelling alone, I found it an excellent base for getting out and about.
