"I've stayed at the Royal twice now when i've had medical appointments nearby. Both bedrooms and ensuites were very clean, pleasantly decorated and very comfortable. The dining room and bar area serves well priced and good quality meals & drinks. Reception was efficient and courteous. On both occasions my rooms were far enough from the bar area to ensure i was not bothered by late night noise, and i actually don't even know if noise IS ever an issue in the accommodation areas. A well maintained lovely old hotel mercifully not ruined by the 'developers'. I will happily stay there again if I am in the area."

"In the heart of Bondi, couldn’t ask for more. Above a great coffee shop, and grocery store. Only wish is that the hotel faced the ocean for a view, but luckily it’s only a few steps from the sand. Free beach cruiser rental was a perk"
