On Belanger Pond is a charming cottage in a storybook-like setting. This property is located north of Suttons Bay and is next to a large pond. It sleeps 6 people and has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

There is a bedroom on the main floor, and the upper bedroom is in the loft. The cozy living room is off the kitchen and a large enclosed porch faces south over the pond. Mornings are beautiful on the porch with birdsong and a cool breeze.

This property is a photographer's dream. It is a magical spot with gorgeous landscaping and a serene setting. Enjoy a fire in the provided fire pit. There is a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking on a splendid summer evening.

This is a great location to enjoy everything in Leelanau County. Stop at some of the wineries, Leelanau Sands Casino, the vintage Bay Theater, or one of the great local restaurants. The house is 20 miles from Traverse City.

Girls Trip
The Sutton Bay Area is so much more relaxing than Traverse City yet close enough to enjoy Traverse City and surrounding areas. This is minor but would be nice to have a shower head that adjusted. Again minor but would have made showering more enjoyable. Location though was perfect.

Late Summer Girls Trip
My mom, sisters and I booked this cottage for our annual girls trip. The cottage was SUPER cozy and in the perfect location for what we had planned. It was only a five minute drive to downtown Sutton’s Bay and a 10 minute drive in the other direction would get you to Northport! Plenty of great seating areas and spaces to cozy up. The porches (both inside and out) were lovely. We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again!

Charming cottage
I needed a place to do some uninterrupted work. This was a wonderfully peaceful and charming location. Drawbacks that weren't too consequential, no ac, no dishwasher. Unexpected drawback, no internet. In all, I'd stay here again. The all white shabby decor very calming. I have limited mobility. No problems with entry and first floor bedroom a plus.

Family visit to meet in Leelanau
The cottage was just as described. It was delightful little place to stay at. The attic rooms are toasty so dress accordingly. It was nice to sit beside the pond with the ducks, frogs and wildlife and have your morning coffee.

Super cute little farm house on the pond. Close to Sutton's Bay and even closer to the casino, if that is your thing! We had a lovely stay, with the only glitch being that we were given the wrong code to get I to the keybox... Took about :30 minutes to get that straightened out but after that it was smooth sailing! Handy to everything that the Leelenau Peninsula has to offer... Would stay there again for sure!

Loved the shabby chic look and feel of the cottage. Very clean, but would have liked to see more supplies in the kitchen. Pans were great, but no baking pans. but we made do. Thank you for allowing us to stay there.

Wonderful little cottage
This cottage is super cute in a great location. We loved the proximity to leelanau cellars and the casino. The house was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only things that would have made the stay better would be newer coffee cups and more than two that were provided. Also if the shower head was adjustable that would be nice too since the shower is small you can’t back away from the water and if your short the water hits you right in the face and you can’t adjust. But we loved the house and do plan to book again for next year.

This home is in a great location. Minutes from downtown Suttons Bay, Northport, and many wonderful wineries and breweries. The inside and outside of the home is decorated with such a warm cozy feel, that it felt like home. We made amazing memories, and enjoyed our stay!

The property was beautiful. There was only one bathroom in the house which worked out OK, but the 2nd bedroom was upstairs and had to go down the steps to use the bathroom; otherwise the property was beautiful.

Very Cute, Clean Cottage with Poor Owner/Manager Communications
Quaint, clean cottage off the beaten path with ample space for a family of four. The sweetly decorated interior, relaxing 3 season porch and wildlife views of the pond were clouded by some services misses during this visit (broken WIFI all week, contractors entering to address non-urgent, owner led maintenance issues without prior notification). Past experience with Visit Up North has been very positive and their communications during this trip remained prompt and courteous during this trip. I would recommend Up North again but would suggest finding another cottage with a more connected owner.

An Amazing, Quiet Experience!
Truly one of the coolest houses I have stayed at on vacation. The views are amazing and it is so quiet and tucked away from people. Very homey and within 5 minutes of Sutton Bay and the Casino and not too far from other attractions. Only issue was the water tasted a little like lead so we did purchase our own drinking water. Overall, would 100% stay again. Our dog also loved the place too!

Cute Little Farm House
My mother-in-law was unable to make the planned trip with our family so I ended up just taking a friend of mine for the weekend. I was thankful the original plan to have 4 adults and 2 dogs did not happen because it would have felt cramped, the yard and house seemed bigger in pictures but that's more my fault than anything. Was perfect for the two of us though, it's an old house with a cute rustic charm in a beautiful location. They put a lot of love into the property and making it feel homey. The locals were very nice and accommodating. Very convenient location for doing winery tours. Less than 20 minutes away from many beautiful spots. Thanks for having us.

Great communication! This house had everything we needed....no running off to store for coffee filters! Our dog was allowed and that was such a big plus!!! House was super clean....nothing creepy here!
