During my stay, there were a few disappointing experiences.
First, even though I selected the "pay at property" option, the payment was withdrawn from my account 2-3 days before my stay without any prior notice.
Additionally, the amount charged was $5 higher than the original booking price, and upon checking, I noticed a credit card surcharge had been added without my consent. I wouldn't have minded paying in advance, but I wish this had been clearly communicated to me beforehand.
Second, the walls of the room were incredibly thin, and I could hear everything from the surrounding rooms.
Conversations, toilet noises, and other sounds felt as if they were coming from within my own room, which was very unsettling.
Lastly, after checking out, I noticed another charge had been made without any explanation. When I inquired, the hotel claimed that drinks were missing from the fridge. However, we had already purchased our own water in advance and did not take anything. Despite explaining this, I was not given a refund.
While the room itself was very clean and comfortable, I was quite disappointed with my experience, especially since I had been looking forward to my stay based on the positive reviews.
