Special Place
After doing a lot of searching and reading we selected this property largely because of the number of good reviews. They were not wrong. This is a very special place that was completely built by the hosts. Everything you need for your stay other than food and clothes are provided should you choose to use them. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, coffee, condiments, and all of the equipment you might need to prepare your meals. Welcoming you is a bottle of local wine, a loaf of banana bread and some fresh eggs. The house is nicely laid out with plenty of space. Three bedrooms and two baths. Especially nice are the very large front and back yard patio spaces where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and a cocktail at night while we watched the wildlife. Deer and turkeys were the most frequent visitors. We also enjoyed interacting with the rescue horses on the property. It is super quiet and really dark at night. You'll see more stars than you can imagine. Cell service here is poor at best but the Wi-Fi is strong and we had no trouble communicating with our computer, phones and using the TV's in the living room and bedroom. (we didn't use the TV's much because it's so delightful outside) The hosts live a short distance away on the same property. They are a wonderful couple who will do anything to make your visit pleasant. Hopefully you will get a chance to chat with them as they have amazing backgrounds. We felt like we were visiting old friends. Can't wait to go back!

Stunning Mountain Views
The photos tell the story. Beautiful mountain vistas from the front patio, gorgeous sunsets from the back patio. The house is clean and comfortable, the kitchen good-sized and well-equipped (don't forget to bring groceries), and the beds provide a good night's sleep. Rob and Sharon are a lovely couple, and greeted us with wine, fresh eggs, and delicious banana bread upon our arrival. There is a dirt road that leads to the property, which is typical for the area. A scenic 30-minute ride to the entrance of Chiricahua National Monument. Good wi-fi, too.

Thanksgiving with 48 turkeys!
This is a lovely, quiet place to spend time, with great access to all the wonders of the Chiricahuas. We had heard there were wild turkeys but actually counted 48 this morning! Amazing. House is really tastefully decorated, well maintained, has everything you need in the kitchen. Master bedrooms are separated by the living room which was great for us. Highly recommend!

Amazing house with amazing views!
This house is a little piece of heaven tucked away near the Chiricahua National Monument in SE Arizona. The owners, Sharon and Rob, are great hosts and go the extra mile to make sure your stay is excellent and memorable. This was our 2nd stay at their home, and both times we found a dozen fresh eggs in the refrigerator from their chickens. They also rescue horses, mules, donkeys and these amazing animals will often greet you just beyond the spacious patio. If you plan to be in the area - better yet, plan a trip to SE Arizona, be sure to stay at Sharon and Rob's place. You won't be disappointed. The home is beautiful, well-equipped and peaceful.

Fabulous guest house accommodations!
Excellent hosts and a perfect house for our party of 5. We were greeted with wine, homemade bread and fresh eggs upon arrival. Great access to Chiricahua, Fort Bowie, Coronado National Memorial, Tombstone, and Bisbee or just stay here and enjoy the view from the two lovely outdoor spaces. Wild deer, turkeys, and hummingbirds along with the resident horses, mule and donkey made for a wonderful, relaxing retreat!

If you are looking to get away from the city hubbub but still want all of the comforts of home, this is the place. Very comfortable home with all of the amenities like good Wi-Fi, tv, coffee provided, as well as a bottle of local wine, eggs and homemade banana bread. Sharon and Rob were so accommodating. Plus, if you love nature, you will enjoy seeing many deer, turkey, and javelina every day. And you must meet Frijoles, the rescue donkey. He’s a hoot!

Close to Chiricahua Nat Monument- a must, We also visited the Willcox playa, the ghost town trail, not far to Whitewater Draw (a birding must) and Tombstone. Good hiking.

ten stars if I could
This place was great. The property is located about 20 miles from the nearest store so you have lots of peace and quiet. Along with that you have a national forest boundary less than a mile away. The views are beautiful and they have horses, a mule, a donkey, and there were dozens of turkeys, deer, and even some javelina running around. They are right at the base of the Chiricahua mountains and they were snow covered and beautiful during our stay while it was sunny and mid-50's outside as we visited in January. Despite the remote location the house is fully equipped with everything you would need including hi speed 5g wi-fi. Our best use of this property would be to get a week's worth of groceries and then just enjoy all the surroundings. Chiricahua National Monument is less than 45 minutes away for a couple day trips also. We have stayed at dozens of rental in the last few years and this is for sure one of the best we've visited. we'd give ten stars if we could.

Dream spot by the Chiricahua Mountains
We loved our stay at the ranch guest house. It definitely surpassed our expectations which were already quite high based on the description. We were on a cross country road trip and this was our one extended stop for total relaxation. We wanted somewhere close to the Chiricahua National Monument which I wanted to visit my entire adult life. The guest house is only about 40 minutes from the visitor center, a beautiful drive and the Chiricahuas are simply astounding. But then to be able to relax both in the mornings and in the evenings on the patio of the guest house became the actual highlight of our trip. Looking up at the mountains was so special. Sharon is a wonderful host who was extremely responsive to all my questions. And talking with her and her husband were one of the highlights of the trip. We learned so much about the area and its history. Thank you both so much!!

Beautiful home with amazing views!
Everyone owes it to themselves to check out southeastern Arizona. In the shadows of the Chiricauhua mountains, this beautiful home sits near a large, grassy pasture where rescue horses, donkey, and mule call home. This home is definitely off the beaten path, but worth the drive down the dirt road. The home itself is beautiful and comfortable. All kitchen ammenities are provided and the bathrooms are a nice size. Probably the best part of the home are the 2 large patios that are well equipped with enough chairs for everyone to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back!!

Gorgeous Setting with Gracious Hosts
My mother and I had a wonderful time at Sharon and Rob's vacation home. It was a beautiful and peaceful setting for down time away from the hustle and bustle of our normal lives. Every morning we woke to gorgeous sunrises over the mountains, deer grazing in the fields, and wild turkeys adding a little fun viewing pleasure. The home is laid out wonderfully for guests with a split floorplan and is one of the most well-appointed homes we have ever stayed in. Sharon and Rob went above and beyond. We loved the home-baked banana bread, free range chicken eggs, and bottle of wine upon check in. Plenty of reading material, games to play, a fireplace for cool Arizona evenings, high end appliances, and did I mention the view? Rob and Sharon were so kind and have hearts of gold (not only because they have 5 rescue horses and continue to do what they can to help animals and conservation) because of how warm and friendly they were toward my mother and I. They felt like people we have been friends with for years. Would highly recommend!

Arizona Paradise!
Beautiful home hosted by wonderful people. Sharon and Rob met us and were the kindest hosts. Their gifts of a bottle of wine, home made bananna bread and farm-fresh eggs were unexpected and made our 3 night stay memorable. Beautiful views, lovely quiet solitude, night time stars were beautiful. Lots of bird species-Rob brought a Hummingbird feeder right in front of our front door so we could watch the birds up close. Highly recommend this beautiful location for a vacation!

One of the best vacations we've had.
Sharon and Rob were the perfect hosts. The Banana bread and bottle of wine waiting for us made us feel so welcome. The home was spotless, spacious and provided everything we needed and more. Both the front and back patio provided overwhelmingly beautiful views. We had the opportunity to grill out with family, feed carrots to the horse's, donkey and mule. Anything we wanted to see or do was a distance from the property however we knew this prior to booking our stay so travel was not a surprise or problem. The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been better weather. We would book this propery again in a heartbeat .

4 nights with Sharon and Rob were incredible. East/West patios for sun rise/set and starwatching!!!!
It felt like home. Sharon set up a small Christmas tree which was a great and thoughtful touch! The kitchen had everything you need to jump in and cook a meal. The property is remote and the peace and quiet is truly just that, you hear the wind, crickets and the birds, little else. The patio on either side of the house both had tables and chairs, recliners for starwatching. And if you needed anything, they were a phone call away and had an answer or a Dutch oven when needed! Great place in every way. We hope to come back.

Paradise in Pearce
We had a fabulous stay Sunglow retreat in Pearce, Arizona. Four women traveled there for a hiking weekend, and we were not disappointed. The house was exactly as advertised, very well furnished, very comfortable, immaculately clean. Recommend getting there during daylight because the last part of the drive is a bit dicey at night; it’s very dark and the property is located down a very long, very dark dirt road. It’s very rural but also very peaceful and lovely. The property is beautiful, has great views and is very serene and quiet. We enjoyed feeding carrots and apples to the horses, mule, and Frijoles the adorable donkey. The owners couldn’t be more lovely; they left us a delicious banana bread, a dozen organic eggs and a bottle of local wine. Kitchen is well stocked, lots of towels etc., and the house is laid out very well with very comfortable furnishings. Great patios in front and back were really lovely for relaxing in the morning and evening. Communication with the owners was excellent and check-in was simple. We also absolutely loved hiking the Chiricahuas which is about 45 mins drive from the house. It was really nice to come back to such a comfortable house after hiking. We were treated to some gorgeous sunrise and sunsets as well. Very much looking forward to a return visit in the near future.
