"Donato’s house is great. It’s in a superb location for the beach. The beach is superfine white sand and at the Cala verde end it’s stunning. The house is on a holiday village type arrangement. A play park for toddlers. The house is 2 bedrooms. The second room is small and like a mezzanine but fine for kids. The attraction is location to the beach. It’s quiet and peaceful set in trees. "We had a very pleasant stay at Villacool, Domus de Maria. The property is clean, well equipped, and great both indoors and outdoors. The swimming pool was notably in excellent condition. We mostly ate outdoors and the outdoor gas BBQ was much appreciated. The house is a little way inland, as shown in the property listing, and therefore away from busy tourist areas, which means there is a short drive to get places but also that the property is quiet and relaxing. Definitely recommended."

"we thought we would not use the pool but it was a beautiful pool and outdoor area so we do use it every day.The beaches were close by but would drive to it where there is a daily charge.The restaurant down the road has very good pizza . If looking for a quiet place away from towns and cities this is it and the villla is perfectly equipped with kitchen utensils for cooking if want to cook at home. "Beautifully maintained property (inside and out); incredibly helpful and friendly staff all around, special thank you to the cleaning crew for the wonderful job. We wish to have stayed longer in this oasis, and Sardinia in general. Only issue was getting to this destination (possibly google maps related). Hopefully this tip can help resolve the issue."

"Fantastic location, room and staff! Room was clean and quiet, well decorated and a great location. Beautiful grounds and the staff was always helpful when we had questions. Checked in late, but they still served us dinner in the restaurant. Good food too. Good breakfast in the morning. Wonderful stay. Would stay there again in the future."

"Little gem of a hotel tucked away in a beautiful corner of SW Sardinia. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room is spacious enough and modern, but with a local/maritime touch on the decor. Breakfast is excellent: you get the continental options + separate menu with items that are cooked for you by the virtuoso lady right there. Unfortunately, they closed their restaurant a few years ago but you can get light meals for lunch and dinner (for the latter, lasagna or melanzane parmigiano are to die for, home made by someone nearby). Sunsets from the roof terrace are beautiful, you can also sip cocktails as you watch, and chat away with Rodney (husband of the lady who cooks breakfast), who is fun company and always full of conversation. There is a small beach steps away, it does not belong to the hotel (Italian families come eagerly!) but you can ask for an umbrella at the reception (nothing is too much trouble for them, really!) Water is amazing, and you get both sandy and rocky part. For parking, they give you a resident permit for the duration of your stay, and you can park on any street nearby (we always found a place). Really happy with our stay, amazing memories, thank-you to all the staff!"

"Stayed for a week at this property with our family. Wonderful place with a lot of greenery and a very well maintained pool. We also used the shuttle service to go to the nearby beach and it was great too. The furnishings in the room were up to date and the air conditioning worked very well. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience "
