Very easy to get where we needed to go and lots of dining options nearby. It’s truly in the heart of the old town. The building is old, which is fine, but the upkeep was lacking. That’s not a complaint, just an observation because truly it didn’t affect our stay. It just wasn’t the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The staff was fantastic. Helpful and kind. Getting there from the train was a bit tricky with our luggage. We took a taxi out which was a bit easier. We’d stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Gamla Stan. Go to House of SmörgĂ„sbord for dinner just up the road. It’s the best local food we had in Sweden!
