I thought it overpriced. Adorable town. Very old hotel. Food good
The room was very nice, super clean. Sitting on the porch is what we love most. Food was good, drinks a bit pricey..but when you're on vacation it hardly matters. The pool was nice, the hot tub too. A pleasant stay in a historic inn. It's the berkshires so its beautiful
a very old building with tons of history and character. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was excellent...very friendly and accommodating.
The Inn is very welcoming with a broad front porch filled with wicker chairs and rockers. Inside there are many sitting rooms, a restaurant and tavern, gift and floral shops and access to an outdoor pool. Well loved antiques are everywhere for comfortable seating throughout the property. Rooms facing the streets can be noisy with traffic. Lots of atmosphere, history and great location for shopping, sightseeing and dining.
Historic Inn with lots of nostalgia, character, esteemed guest list and many museum-worthy artifacts and memorabilia items! Rooms are quaint, and though expected to be somewhat rustic, are a bit run down - stained carpeting, leaky tub, lukewarm shower in the evening, etc. Great mattress on the bed, and nice clean linens, robe, etc! Great location! Friendly staff!
The room was clean and comfortable. The Inn was unique but we didn't know ahead of time we would be staying 1.5 blocks from the main building where the restaurant and bar were on a rainy night with limited parking. The staff was helpful with coming and helping with the TV and Espresso machine, but by the time we realized we couldn't get online we didn't bother them again.

Property is tired. Carpeting needs to be replaced. Room furniture needs to be replaced/TVs updated. Staff was very accomodating, helpfull, energetic.
We love the laid back shabby chic comfort of the Inn. It is our third visit in 2 years and a delightful getaway. The food is excellent. Breakfast has a good choice of menu options . We also love the pool

Very Charming hotel. Good size rooms, has many interesting features due to the age of the hotel. Takes you back to another era.
Staff was very helpful particularly Jerry in outside cafe. Grounds keeper did a beautiful job!
Outdoor pool was amazing! Will be back to swim in in the winter.
Loved the shops located in the main building.
We stayed in Maple Glen which was lovely. I was disappointed my room was dark but now know to ask for a sunnier room when booking.
The inn is historic with a grand feel. The room was large and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Nice hot shower. Clean room. Food and service were great. The staff were professional and personable and made sure that you were happy with your stay. Would definitely return to this inn.
Had requested an early check in ahead of time and were obliged. Also, because our room was in the main Inn Building and I had read there were no refrigerators in those rooms, but one could be requested, we also did so, ahead of arrival, and were onliged. The queen beds in out room were comfortable and we had a large bathroom with a walk in shower.
Ideal location if one is looking to stay in Stockbridge. The guest house we stayed in was quiet and comfortable. But our room was looking a little worn and in need of some updates, such as the carpet. The property has an excellent restaurant. The property was undergoing a renovation during our stay, so the parking situation was at first confusing, but we got the hang of it quickly,
Every year my sisters and I go to the Red Lion to celebrate our mom’s birthday. It was one of her favorite places! We love the charm, the history and the “old fashioned” feel. Every guest room is different and they kindly upgraded me to a suite the last two times. The food at the restaurant is really good and we always love hearing the Jazz in the Lion’s Den on Sunday night. Can’t wait to return next year.
What a beautiful, unique building. Full of antiques and feels like going back in time. The ride up to my fourth floor room in the 19th century cage elevator was a wonderful touch. Can’t wait to go back again.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, beds comfy and the charm and history of the inn is truly enchanting.
The Red Lion Inn has so much history and character, it was a wonderful
Experience to say the least. With modern amenities, it still
Managed to keep its old world charm
Food at the Wolf Den Tavern offered some of the best clam chowder I have ever had
Enjoyed the hot tub but both hot tub and pool were difficult getting in and out of for someone with mobility issues like me
Breakfast in the main dining room was also wonderful with very pleasant staff
Upon check in, the only employee at the registration desk was on the phone with a customer for a good 15-20 minutes while the line behind me were all waiting to check in. Since check in time is 4:00, and we were there at 4:30 it seems like there should be more than one employee checking in customers
Overall a wonderful stay. One that I would happily do again
