"This hotel goes above and beyond for customers traveling with dogs! There is a large outdoor dog park, with free dog waste bags, and lots of grass for walks. There is a mudroom just off the dog park, with a bathtub, shampoo and towels to clean your dog before coming inside. In the room, there is a big dog bed and a bin full of extrra towels, a sheet to cover the bed to keep it clean, a dog blanket, and a goodie bag filled with treats, more plastic bags and tennis balls! They even have paintings of dogs on the walls. The manager/reception desk was also super attention and really easy to work with when we needed to change our dates."

"The Birchwood Lodge was a very nice hotel, clean and well kept. We were there for New Years Eve and I wanted a hotel close to where the cherry was going to drop. The Birchwood Lodge was walking distance to the Cherry Drop on December 31. As I checked out, I notified the desk agent that they should check the switches and light bulbs. I think some lights were burned out. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay! Very comfortable. "

"Friends and I brought the kids for NYE since there wasn’t anything to do in town. They all had a great time in the pool. The staff is so nice and kind. They were not strict, just very accommodating. We all had an amazing time there. "

"Nice convenient location. Overall the place was nice, but very dated decor overall and in our room. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable to sleep on and the pillows were just as hard. It was very quiet, however our stay was a few days before Christmas, so I’m sure there weren’t many travelers. Would love to go back and stay there, as it was located central to shopping and dining, but because the bed was so horrible to sleep on, we will look elsewhere next time."
