"We hosted Thanksgiving for our extended family and stayed the night in the cabin. For how large the space was it was cozy. There were some quirky things since the property is set up for weddings. The views were exactly what we hoped for from the PNW!"

"This property has a great location and with easy access to local businesses. We stayed here while visiting relatives in the area and there was plenty of room for family visits and relaxing. The outdoor space looks like a small retreat although we came in winter and didn’t spend much time out there. Would recommend to others traveling to the area. "

"This was probably one of the best VRBO experiences we have had. From start to finish Kristin was a genuine, hospitable host. She welcomed us with wine, cheese and crackers and introduced us to the nuances of the property (this was pretty necessary). She lives on the property but we in no way felt managed or intruded upon. "Suited us well: one married couple and one friend, so we took the larger master with bathroom while our friend took the smaller room with a bathroom across the hall. Open plan with large kitchen, dining room, and living room area. Great lighting with ample overheads and skylights. Stayton is a quiet little town, nothing fancy but perfect location to visit Silver Falls, Oregon Gardens, Silverton, Salem, wineries, etc. We discovered a bonus river walk along the Santiam River as well!"

"Great visit for family fun at the Christmas Marketplace in Silverton. Loved the house-spacious and cozy…decorated warmly for Christmas. Walked to charming downtown restaurants and stores. Laurie is an amazing host!"
