« This was our third stay at the Love Shack and it couldn’t have been better! We come each fall to tour wineries and waterfalls. The Love Shack is cozy and relaxing with an amazing view of the rising sun each morning, a lovely deck, and all the amenities for a long weekend stay. The location is great for traveling around Seneca and Keuka. The winery across the street-Scout-is wonderful! »

« Grouse Haven near Keuka Lake was the perfect cabin in the woods experience I was hoping for! A quiet "away from it all" location, but 15 minutes to "town" if you need! The cabin was exceptionally clean and the owner had it nice and toasty and the fireplace going when I arrived. The listing photos are very accurate - looked exactly as I expected base on the photos, from the cabin and rooms, to the property. Everything is provided: cookware, utensils, bath and bed linens - it was super easy for me...

« Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed. »

« We had a wonderful anniversary weekend at Jonny's lovely cottage. The location - right on Seneca Lake - was perfect for a glass of wine on the dock, bird watching, and relaxing with a book. The cottage was super clean, with everything we needed for the weekend. Jonny shared detailed info about the rental, which we really appreciated, and was fast to respond to emails. The hot tub, especially on a chilly night, is great fun. We'll be back! »

"We appreciated our stay at this hotel. Breakfast has very good options and plenty of seating. The site on the Keuka lake is quite stunning. Dinner options will be about 1 mile away… a nice walk after eating out. Gym and pool facilities are in good condition. For those with electric cars, a word of caution. The hotel website says that there is a charging station. Reality is they have 2 GFI outlets linked to lighting posts at the far end of the parking lot. So, bring your charging cords! While we were there, we were 2 electric car owners and my GFI kept shutting off , probably because I was the farthest from the hotel. On our second night, I was the only car using the outlet and it went out in the middle of the night, reason unknown. I believe that in the times we live in, it would only be normal to have a bona fide charging station available at this hotel."

"The hotel offers large and comfortable rooms right on the shore of Lake Seneca, at a walking distance from downtown Geneva. There are very nice lake views and access to a beautiful lake promenade. HOWEVER, the lack of staff can be felt throughout the facilities. Our rooms (my party had 3 of them) were never serviced, even though we asked three times to have fresh towels and coffee-making supplies. We had to ask at the desk for towels and supplies, but the promised room service never materialized. Very disappointing, because it could have been a perfect stay. We could come back if the manager promises to hire more people when it is required, and based on attendance. The poor room technician we crossed once looked perfectly exhausted and certainly not happy."
