Welcome to the Water Lily Cottage! Located in the much desired oceanfront community of Coast Cottages, this charming 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom home has it all! Views of marshes from three coastal front porch balconies will rock all of your worries away while you view the wildlife at your doorstep. Located only 325 yards from the ocean front Coast Cottages Pool Pavilion and beach access, this home will allow guests to have access to some of the best amenities on the island. The Coast Cottages Pool Pavilion offers private gated access to two oceanfront pools, private beach boardwalk access to some of the widest and calmest waters on St. Simons Island.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $40/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours!

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (8 persons). Group events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, student groups, etc. are strictly prohibited.

Minimum Age Requirement of 25 years of Age to Rent the Property.

Upon entering the Water Lily, guests will find two guest bedrooms, both with en suite full bathrooms as well as a laundry area. The first guest bedroom offers one Queen bed and the second guest bedroom offers two Queen beds. On the second floor, guests will find a wonderful open concept floor plan with a newly updated appliances in the kitchen, a large 55" HD Smart TV, a comfortable living space and plenty of seating around the dining table (6) and bar seating (4). The secondo floor balcony is a great space to enjoy morning coffee of evening cocktails while watching the sunset over the marsh. Enjoy grilling? The new Weber gas grill located on the back side of the cottage will be the perfect spot to grill your catch of the day! The fun spiral staircase will take guests to the third floor balcony with a birds eye view of the marshes below. The primary bedroom suite is located off of the living area and is a wonderful escape featuring a king bed with a en suite bathroom with a large soaking tub and a walk-in shower.

Details of the Heated Community Pool:
From Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon every weekend between September 22 and May 21.
Thanksgiving weekend from Wednesday afternoon through Sunday afternoon
Christmas week from December 24 afternoon through January 1 afternoon
Spring Break from March 15 through April 15.
Any other days may be heated upon request for $50 per day, paid in advance to SSCCNA.
Pool heating is not available (nor desirable) from May 22 through September 21.

Sanitation / Disinfection during COVID-19: Lilmar Properties has always been committed to providing our guests with rental properties that are properly cleaned and sanitized. Starting May 1, 2020, we will be providing an extra layer of sanitation and disinfection for our arriving guests. All properties will be treated (on frequently touched items, such as doorknobs, faucets, switches, etc.) with a U.S. EPA approved disinfectant product that kills the COVID-19 after our regular housekeeping process is completed.

Fantastic property in a terrific beachside neighborhood. We enjoyed the more remote location within the development, a bit farther from the beach but quieter marsh views. All properties look at too many large SUVs. It would be great if they offered remote parking and encouraged everyone to walk/bike the neighborhood. Fantastic management company operates with military precision. Best for immediate families of 5 or 6. More will be uncomfortable. We loved the flipped layout with living spaces upstairs and bedrooms downstairs but may be challenging for less mobile folks. Pools are OK. We will return!

We enjoyed our time at St. Simon’s. The cottage was perfect for our family. The only difficulty we had was It was frustrating many things were not open due to low season. The restaurants don’t take reservations which was a pain since we had 7 people.

Great place to stay on St. Simons

Water Lily Cottage is a great place to stay to enjoy St. Simons Island. It's close to the beach, close to the beautiful salt marshes, close to restaurants and shops. It has lots of space and very well equipped. The management company (Lilmar) is responsive and helpful.

We were all comfortable with each bedroom, living area and decks. Kitchen was better equipped than any home lease we have used. Oven so clean, I hesitated to use. Towels were so fluffy & soft! Beach supplies were also made available.

Fabulous property exactly as depicted in the photos. The pool and access to the beach are great. It’s a drive to anywhere else but the house is so comfortable we were just happy to enjoy the comforts and relax!

Exceptional property! We loved the Water Lily!

This house provided the perfect home away from home for our family of 6 during our St. Simons Island vacation! The house was extremely clean and was equipped with everything we needed for the week. We ate several meals at the cottage and the kitchen was stocked with all the basics and many additional items you would not necessarily think of a rental property having, but were very useful! The house was very comfortable and beautifully decorated (NOT over the top “beach house” themed like many properties seem to do and can be quite tacky). Not having to pack beach towels and chairs was great as these were also provided by the property. The location is a short walk to the pools and then beyond to the beach, so easy to go back and forth without having to drag a ton of sand into a vehicle!! The management company was very responsive and quick to answer any questions and make sure we had everything we needed for an exceptional stay. We definitely plan on returning to St. Simons and would stay at the Water Lily Cottage again for sure!!

Great house in a great location. Quick 5 min walk to the pool and beach, which was great with 3 little ones. Rooms are a good size and clean. Only thing i can say negatively is the parking spots are small, as we couldn't fit 2 big suvs in the spots, so i had to park across the street. Overall great place
