We had a great time. Weather was perfect, condo not too far from the beach. Only complaint is there are NO POOL HOURS. Had loud people in the pool at 2:00 in the morning. The association needs to enforce pool hours at night.

Still rented unit knowing issues.Please take the time to read.
Upon arriving, my husband and myself were meeting another couple. So we looked around very briefly. After noticing a TV that was hung crooked and a few pictures, we set our luggage in the bedroom and went out and had dinner with our friends. We made it back to the property around 10 PM, we went to go and look at the view. Upon opening the sliding door we discovered, it was unlocked. Trying to lock the door it would not lock. After calling Itrips several times with no success, I waited to contact them first thing in the morning. It took a couple hours for them to get back with me which delayed the next excursion on our vacation. Midday, somebody did come out with a make shift door stopper, that was as flimsy a curtain rod. The gentleman that came out could not even install it. He also stated the door needed to be replaced. The owner knew this and still rented. My husband ended up having to do the work. On day 3 they came out with a new lock. Going back to day 2 when I proceeded to take a shower I noticed mold on the shower curtain , mold on the soap dish and a showerhead full of soap scum! Last but not least, on our last day in the morning as I was doing dishes a gentleman walked in our room as I was standing in my underwear and would not leave! Continued to stare until husband asked him nicely to get out and talk through the door! He still stood there staring. Needless to say, the only compensation was a refund of the cleaning fee. They were very rude and did not care!

Outdated/uncomfortable furniture. No fan in bathroom, dirty sheets, asked for different sheets, they had holes. TV in living room died. Facilities were awesome, met some great people. Will be checking out staying there again in different room.

Winter break
Condo was comfortable, tastefully decorated. Easy access to pool and beach, elevator and steps to parking lot and the surrounding area. Plenty dishes and glassware, however pans for stove were worn. Itrip staff responded quickly. Caprice staff were friendly and answered questions about Caprice and area. The living room slider doesn't lock- don't think anyone could access it from pool as 1st floor is actually one floor up. Tub was slippery- obvious that safety strips had been on bottom at some point. This was mentioned in another review within last year. The Caprice is a gem- the building is a wide horseshoe- blocks wind from NE. The hallways are cement and cool, optimal for summer heat. We loved St. Pete Beach- very walkable area! We enjoyed Rick's Reef- great fresh food at reasonable prices and friendly staff; Woody's- great sunset viewing restaurant/ bar with great food too. Toasted Monkey has great food and live music EVERY NIGHT! We hope to return!

Good location
Me and the wife had a wonderful time. The beach was very clean and well maintained. Our room was nice. But there was a few things that need work. First is the kitchen faucet. I hope the guy that install this isn't a plumber. The mattress needs to be replaced. Its nasty. The sliding door in the living room doesn't lock and we were on the first floor. To be honest the beach is why I gave this three stars. If you are the owner of this condo, you need to put some of the money we paid into at least the locks on the sliding door and the front door knob.

Perfect Beach Getaway
Had a girls trip with my bestie. We got drunk on the view! LITERALLY LAUGHING at how beautiful it was. This is centrally located so we walked to bars/ restaurants every night. Will definitely stay again.

Great Property!
everything about our stay was ideal. The unit was as advertised. Everything worked well. We had stayed in these units before and the facility (location, beach, pool) was wonderful. While everything was comfortable I would suggest upgrades regarding the roll away bed mattress and the pullout mattress in the couch. The unit is on the first floor with the balcony directly above the pool filter which one hears constantly when on the balcony. It doesn’t eliminate the beauty of the view but it may be a distraction for some. Overall, a great stay. Thank you!

COULD EASILY HAVE BEEN five star
Caprice Resort is an ideal setting for a great vacation, steps from heated pool and the ideal St. Pete's Beach. The majority of condos are managed by the management company on site. This unit, however, is one of a few at Caprice that is managed by others off site. We were shocked to enter the condo that smelled stale, did not have the cleanliness that is expected, or the appropriate & necessary start up supplies that anyone would expect; We needed to buy several such items before we even unpacked. We are retired, love to travel, and have stayed in many condos. We have a stellar rating as renters, and always appreciate the communications with the owners, some who have become good friends. Communication here was lacking, and it appeared that many of the issues could have been avoided if there had been better over site by owners or management, especially regarding contents and quality of cleaning .

Nice property. Cannot beat the access to great restaurants, bars, shopping etc. The condo could be a five star with a few simple improvements including: working ice maker, lemonade pitcher, more beach towels new coffee maker /pot (handle broken) more TP and paper towels. Also it would be nice to include instructions on how to work the lock to eliminate new user experimentation on lock/unlock procedure. Beach location great, bed very comfortable TV & shower great .. covered the basics very well.

The rental process was easy, communication was prompt and helpful. Had a glitch with the door code but that was addressed immediately. The overall condo property is well kept and people were friendly. This unit is in close proximity to the pool, particularly when on the balcony, but not an issue for us. No issues with on site parking. Lots of waterfront restaurants within walking distance. Bathroom was clean but a little dated; however, pictures adequately reflect this. Easy access via the elevator or stairs. Enjoyed our stay!

St Pete Beach Vacay
Overall the stay was sufficient. It was a great location, and the apartment was very clean. It had everything I needed for my stay. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was great. The property management company was very responsive and attentive. The only downfalls were that I had to reach out to them on 4 different occasions which all could have been avoided. I arrived late in the evening and the instructions I had received weren't 100% accurate. Although I was still able to get up to the apartment in a timely manner. The apt is on the 1st floor and the sliding door in the living room didn’t lock so I had to ask to get it fixed the next day which they did. Then the next day I had to ask them to snack the shower because the shower drain was extremely clogged, they fixed that too. There was also a window on the front that was broken and letting air in and making noise when it was windy. That they fixed with tap for a quick solution but a more permeant solution will be needed. Considering all the things I had them fix the place is fine for people to stay now, I just wish those issues would have been addressed before I got there, so it was either a result of other guests not speaking up about it or the property being neglected.
