« We had 4 generations staying for a long weekend for a family wedding. Much better option than hotel rooms with an infant,toddler and a pet traveling with us. We had no problems while we were there, but the hosts did reach several times to make sure we had everything we needed. We had enough space for everyone , and although the converted garage worked well for us, the floors above are very squeaky. »

« Booked this stay last minute for a weekend trip. Place looks nice based on the pictures shown. Check in was easy. However, upon entering the property I could see that the pictures online seem to be heavily photoshopped. Place is not as updated as it seems. Walls can use fresh painting. Cleaning was not up to par. Hairs found under bedsheets once comforters were pulled back. In one room the ceiling light didn’t work and there were no light bulbs in the lamps. House also had a strong scent...

« Shannon was an excellent host! She responded very quickly which wasn't often as anything you would need was in the house. We had our pet with us and we took her just down the road to Greensport Campground for walks. We enjoyed the screened in porch to eat meals or sit and read in the evenings. We would definitely stay here or at one of Shannon's other properties as she is such a host! greathost!host!host!wedefhere. »

« This was our first time staying in a tiny home and we LOVED it! It was rustic and modern, super clean and tidy, beautiful wood work throughout, over all great experience. It was the perfect size for 2 people. The wifi is iffy - which is explained in the listing - so this made it a little difficult to watch tv but that wasn't a huge deal to me. I would totally recommend this place to other couples and would consider staying here again! »

A short drive from the house has you in downtown Birmingham or on the highway or Interstate needed to go to other destinations. When the door code did not work at check-in a quick call to the host had the situation corrected in a few seconds. Our family would book the home again if needed. »
