Loved our stay while attending SOAR at MSU with my daughter. The hotel is close to the college campus which made it super easy to go back and forth. We stayed in the V2 Balcony suite. The room was modern & beautiful, clean and the beds were comfortable. Loved that they are pet friendly so we could bring our fur babies. Front Desk staff was kind and helpful and even gave the pups a welcome bag with directions to the closest pup parks and treats. Didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but I did have a drink at the bar. Bar staff were friendly and the food that passed by smelled and looked delish. The rooftop bar was gorgeous! Can’t wait to get a chance to spend time up there on our next trip down. I’ll be staying at Hotel Vandivort every time I come to town while my daughter is at MSU.

Good sized room with nice bathroom. Nice restaurants on site and plenty more in walking distance. Some noisy drivers circling the block on a weekend night thankfully cake it a night around 11.

great customer service! special mention to Ari, & the guy with her in the same shift (1pm) for the smooth check in and accommodating my surprise request for my wife since it’s our anniversary stay, thanks to them. Also to hanna in the afternoon shift for granting my request LCO was a big help for my important errands. It was a pleasant stay and a memorable anniversary for us. Super clean, classy hotel, great property. Will definitely coming back and try the suite.

If you drive a full pickup, parking is terrible. The parking garage ramps are too narrow for a full size truck. I drive a 2024 GMC 1/2 pickup. Parking on the street is almost impossible and the parking lot across the street worse than the parking garage. I don't like walking down an alley to get to the room. My TV would not change channels, but I didn't say anything. It was late and I was tired. Therefore I took a shower with shampoo only. The soap dispenser didn't work. The bed felt like a piece of plywood, but the pillows were very good. Very disappointed for the price.

Love the design and atmosphere. In the spirit of trying to be more vegan-friendly and gluten-free, I would also include options with alternative sodium as that is more accommdating to those with kidney issues.
