"Corola the property manager was amazing. The power had gone out in the area right before we got there, she was going to get us lanterns but it came back on so we called and let her know. Unfortunately the power only stayed on for 15 mins and then went back out the rest of the night. We disnt want to bother Corola to come out with the hope the power would come back on. Overall the property is very nice and bed was comfortable. Will need to visit again so we can really enjoy it more with power...

"We spent 8 lovely nights in Barry's Guest House on an extended vacation. He was SUCH a wonderful host! Proactive in sharing information and very responsive when we had any questions. "Lovely location, clean accommodations. Easily handled our 9 guests. Only issue was the Pebble Beach gates. I called three times to have our name added to the gate access, but guest services were not able to do so. Gate attendants insisted on charging us to enter and suggested we get reimbursed from the property manager. "

"I had a great experience at Driftwood last week. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and it's a five minute walk to the beach. Driftwood is bright and sunny. "I stayed here a few days with my husband and dog during the Christmas holiday and it was lovely. Overall the stay was a 4.25/5. The staff is a 10/10 in kindness and helpfulness. "Very cute place with a cozy fireplace in the room. It’s in the old part of Monterey. Took a short bicycle ride to the park and the Paris bakery. I would have swam in the heated if the weather was better, but it is rain season and December. Also, had tapas at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed watching the rain and fire on their partially covered heated outdoor patio while we ate. I would stay there again."
