"I absolutely loved every minute of my stay here. The location is less than 10 minutes walk to the town. From the friendliness of the staff to the chilled out atmosphere this place cannot be faulted. Beautiful restaurant serving outstanding food and a bar serving a varied selection of drinks. If/when I return to Svalbard I won't hesitate to stay at Mary Ann's Polarrig again. "

"The property was nice. Easy to get to and the staff are accommodating. We got two rooms with 2 beds. They are big enough for two people and baggage in each room. The bathrooms are shared in the hallways. Each bathroom is private and has a shower. Very clean and warm during the cold winter. Never had issues waiting for the bathroom. There were 4 bathrooms on each floor. The main building had a bar and a lounge to hang out in. Tea, coffee and water offered all day for free. Would stay here again. "

"Maryann’s is cozy, quiet, and heartwarming oasis in a desert of corporate modern hotels bleached of all feeling. It is a very walkable distance to the city center but far enough away to shake off the town when you want to. Having lunch and dinner as an available option on site is convenient but we very much enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Everything was so fresh and made with obvious love of serving. I would definitely return here. "
