Good place to stay, particularly for history buffs . Easy to reach by bus and within walking distance to the cathedral and the Jewish Court. Complimentary breakfast is good, although tricky to find.

Beautiful old building. Room was not that big but ok for 1 night. Friendly staff. 8 euro for the car park on the street is a bit expensive for Speyer on a Sunday.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The entrance is hard to find, then you have to go to the 2nd floor to find the checkin location (but not before 3pm!), then if your room is in the N side of the hotel, you wind down a passageway to another elevator to access that side. And to get to breakfast, you come back to the 2nd floor lobby, then a separate nondescript elevator to the breakfast are. A literal rat maze to find your way in and back out. Also one bed had been urinated in apparently intentionally by some upset staffer, so daughter had to be moved to another room in the other wing 100 yrds and 2 elevators away. Also checkin guy tried to charge us again for the full price, when it was prepaid on Expedia... trying to rip folks off for double room pay then acts like he didnt notice it was prepaid. Wonder how many people he has gotten away with on this scam. On the upside, breakfast is very good (if you can find it) and beds are comfy. We stayed 3 nights, and might stay there again now that we know our way through through the maze of corridors and elevators, and know what to expect. Just don't let them charge you again if you prepaid!

Haben das Hotel ausgewählt wegen der Nähe zur Innenstadt bzw. zum Weihnachtsmarkt-Neujahrsmarkt. Das Hotel ist soweit in Ordnung. Wir waren 3 Nächte ohne Frühstück Ein großer Parkplatz ist gleich um die Ecke. 24H -8.00 Euro dafür ist das Hotel diekt in der Stadt. Die Postgallerie ( Einkaufspassage) ist direkt mit dem Hotel verbunden. Die meisten Läden sind aber zu, werden umgebaut etc. Aber in der Innenstadt gibts genug schöne Geschäfte. bis hin zum Dom der sehr sehenswert ist.

Nettes Hotel, sehr zentral gelegen in Speyer. Checkin ist länger möglich als auf Expedia angegebenen und es gibt die Möglichkeit zum kontaktlosen einchecken. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es nicht direkt am Hotel aber auf 2 umliegenden öffentlichen Parkplätzen sind Plätze für das Hotel reserviert.

Gute Adresse
Informationen des Hotels zum Parkplatz waren unpräziese. Letzendlich waren wir, glaube ich, auf dem richtigen Parkplatz. Ob dieser gebührenpflichtig oder kostenlos war, war aber nicht klar. Wir haben für 24h 8€ bezahlt. Sicher ist sicher. Ansonsten aber alles gut und liegt sehr zentral.
