« This is our second stay and it checks all the boxes for what was needed. The property manager allowed us an early check in as we were traveling from Texas. The property is always immaculate. The road is very rough with hills, but it doesn't have anything to do with the property. The property has all the amenities needed. I would stay again. »

« The screened porch right on the water is the highlight - especially during the rainy day. We watched movies on the porch TV in the evenings after watching baseball and basketball throughout the day. This is not a big house, but the space works very well. All rooms are well laid out and well furnished - exactly as presented. This is our 4th place to stay on Lake d'Arbonne, and our favorite so far. »

« Overall we had a good time. The dock was great, and very peaceful! The property managers were very easy to work with as well. We did have internet issues each day, which was a bit of a pain. It didn’t start working until about 10:00 a.m. once it started to warm up. The property is in a rural area, so I’m sure it is difficult to get reliable service. The cleanliness of the property could have been better as well. »

Beautiful property with classy interior and Hosts who made our trip easy. They responded quickly, answered all our questions and allowed us to have a worry free weekend. « Blue Heron was the perfect location for our family who were in Ruston for a LA Tech graduation. The house and grounds are even more beautiful in person than in the photos. « Hideaway Cove was the perfect place for our long weekend family get-together. It is secluded, yet only a few minutes from town, so grocery shopping or dining out are no problem. « Stayed here for a baseball tournament that one of my kids was playing in Ruston. Only a 17 minute (super easy trip) from the driveway to the Ruston Sports Complex! Owner was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. Definitely would recommend! »

« This house is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. Our group of 8 had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and the hosts were friendly and responsive. The house sits on a large, beautiful piece of land and is in a great location on the lake. We were able to easily launch our boat nearby and the boat dock on the property was convenient and well set up. We would definitely stay in this house again. »

« Lakeside Retreat was the perfect home for visiting our Downsville family. It was clean, extremely well-stocked, had plenty of parking and felt like home. The open kitchen, dining, living room floorplan is so welcoming. We are ‘lake people’ and the front porch did not disappoint. Also, the Green Egg turned out 10 fine ribeyes. We will definitely keep this home in mind for our next visit. »
