Did not like that in room lighting needed to be individually turned on and off ( wall sconces, beds side lamp, lamp on desk) only one was on light switch, the one over the table by the window."

"Everything was just fine. Beautiful hotel accommodating staff. I must say I expected a little extra extra staying at the Benson. Which I didn't really feel. Beautifully decorated for Christmas which is what I was looking for. Accommodating a dog was a lovely option, but you don't get anything for the $40 charge and there's literally nowhere for the dog to go to the bathroom within a three block radius. I felt unsafe going out in the morning. I was able to get a dog bowl by calling housekeeping. Being able to be served drinks and snacks in the lobby with my dog was the best perk. The Benson is a classic, I've done it once but I'm not sure if I would come back here or try looking for that extra extra place."
