"Had a good experience overall. The hotel is conveniently located near many eateries and Umekoji stat, making it easy to explore the area. However, there were a few issues. The air conditioning unit has a broken outer part, and the shoji screens were torn. Additionally, the Netflix stopped working after a few days. "We liked all the extra room. Beds and amenities were just ok, but not a bad trade off for the space and kitchen. You’ll need to take the bus or train to get around. Super easy to use. Cool neighborhood restaurants near the local station. "

"The front desk staff was amazing at this apartment style hotel. I wasn't expecting first class service but we definitely got it! They provided us a dinner recommendation, booked the taxi and booked the table. It was one of the best dinners we had in Japan and was in Pontocho Alley, which is a pretty popular area! The room was beautiful, everything was comfortable. Had a great experience!"

"Very economical option especially for solo traveler planning to spend most of the day to explore Kyoto. The room is compact but has everything you need! I honestly prefer it like this, so minimum waste and good for the environment. Most importantly, it is super close to Kyoto station and the Avanti mall where you can easily take the bus to KIX airport. If I were to travel solo again in Kyoto, I would definitely consider to book again! "

Onyado Nono Kyotoshichijo Natural Hot Springs

"Staying at Onyado Nono Hotel was the best decision we made for our trip! The ambiance and service were incredible. The unlimited ramen at night and the delicious breakfast buffet added so much comfort and enjoyment to our stay. The onsen was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring Kyoto. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it!"

"Amazing location steps from the Kyoto train station. In the station is a food court with excellent dining options, and it is a short Uber or 20 minute walk up to the Nishiki market region for shopping (both upscale and more traditional). The amenities were excellent and the breakfast was very good. Staff service was amazing. We would not hesitate to stay here on every trip to Kyoto!"
