"We were very fortunate to get one of the newer rooms when we asked for a renovated room and the man at the front desk happily gave us one for a small extra nightly fee (our friends were not as lucky as their room smelled really musty, toilet didn’t work and neither did the phone, but they got their room changed to our building). The room was so nice!! We had 2 queen beds, a little kitchen with a refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, all which were so nice to have. We also had a sitting area in that room to play games in and eat in. A couch was also there with a comfortable pull out couch, so that the 3 of us had our own beds. Clean bathroom as well, with one of the nicest shower heads ever!! We were also able to see the sunset from our balcony, which also served as a wonderful place to have our morning coffee! The pool area was great since the bar and restaurant were adjacent to it. Food was very good, drinks were great, and the hot tub was actually hot and wonderful!! There was another pool was available, but we didn’t use it. We had a great time in this area of the hotel! Great pool areas, fun! It was also wonderful to have the beach right there!!! Gorgeous!!! I’d return but only if I could have the room we had something close to it, in size and with the balcony with ocean view and not one of the older rooms my friends almost ended up in. With the construction going on, I feel like it will all be great soon. It was an excellent place to spend a girls’ trip!! "

"Edge Hotel was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Hotel is in a great area, within a 3 min walk to the beach. Not too far from shops. Bad Ass Coffee is a MUST and located right downstairs! Super delicious and the staff was incredible! The ice cream shop across the street was also yummy! May I always suggest Bavaro's Napoletana & Pastaria, it's about a 10 min walk (most of the walk is along the beach and beautiful), pizza and wings are AMAZING!"

"We stayed and the Rumfish Beach property in a gulf facing suite. Amazing view of a very clean beach which we could not enjoy due to the cool weather that slipped into St. Pete Beach over the week we were there. RumFish Beach clientele are also allowed to use the Trade Winds Island Grand facilities which was a huge plus given the weather. We managed to get in pickleball in the time we were there. Island Grand is more of a facility for families with little children's activities like putt putt golf. They also do have activities that adults can enjoy like paddle boating . We enjoyed the drum beating group activity on Island Grand. Rumfish Beach resort also has fires 'n' smores in the evening which is also very entertaining. All in all, a very good decision if you want to go to either of the Trade Winds resort. While they are recovering from the recent hurricanes (hence the 4 on the property condition), they still put up a very good accomodation."
