First room reeked of animal urine so strong I walked out and asked for another room. Went to new room and window was wide open- first floor. Carpets were damp, shower full of mold and room smelled of animal urine after we closed the window. Slept with clothes on and wore shoes everywhere. Another customer was complaining that their bedsheets were dirty and never changed before they checked in. No one to change them so front desk gave her a set of sheets to change it herself!

First off, the $781.76 for two nights was ridiculous. 1. The room smelled. We noticed as soon as we opened the door. 2. The room was a bit cold, so we tried to turn the heat and found the thermostat that read ERR. Tried to turn it on manually and as the heat came on the burning smell started so we turned it off and left it off for the two days we stayed. 3. The microwave was broken and wouldn’t rotate. When we did use it, we got a burning smell from it. Stopped for fear of causing a fire. 4. TV had only basic cable channels. No sports, like ESPN and others. 5. Battery cover on remote was missing. 6. Took off our shoes to find the carpet was soaking wet. So, for the rest of our stay, we had to keep our shoes on while in the room. Just as wet Sunday as it was on Friday. 7. We only found sugary cereals in all three choices in the Breakfast Bar. Could not get toaster to work, and no jelly or spreads for toast if we could.

Nice 3-star hotel, nice room, breakfast was decent. Hot food selections included fresh scrambled eggs and sausage links. Will stay here again the next time I am in the Elkhart area.

Worst hotel I have stayed at. As soon as you walk into the building you get hit with a nasty odor. The staff was really nice can’t complain about that. We got our room and the room smelled worse. The room felt like it hadn’t had any air circulation we had to open the window and turn the a/c on. The desk and chair had a dust layer on it. The coffee machine was not cleaned in along time. The mini fridge was leaking water. The restroom is where we he had to cancel our stay. The tub had rust that was covered with paint but it was chipping off. There were small roaches behind the toilet. Mold all over the shower. We planned on staying 4 days and checked out after the first night. Our family member were also going to stay there and after seeing our room they cancelled their reservation. The only good thing about the place was the first employee that helped us check in he was really nice. I don’t even want to give this place one star.

There were two days when the room was not cleaned at all - only new towels. The clerk who initially checked me in, made me uncomfortable to the point of me avoiding him each night when I returned. The grout in the bathroom floor was coming out - stepped on it and cut myself. The handle on the toilet was hard to flush because it hit the toilet cover. The sink handle could not open all the way because it hit the mirror. Needless to say, I will not be returning. If my foot gets infected, I will be in touch.
