"The cabin is actually a lot larger than I thought it was going to be. We had more than enough room. The back deck is great for the kids to play on with supervision. Understand that on a hot day, the front bedroom and living room get quite warm. The host/hostess were great and responded quickly to us when we mentioned that the oven needed to be cleaned so it didn’t smoke when in use."

"Great location near Arnold and Calavaras Big Trees. The cabin was set up well, the beds were very comfortable and showers worked great. Both the kitchen, bathrooms were clean upon arrival. However, I felt overall the cabin needs a very deep cleaning. I didn’t notice any smells, but there were so many items in the cabin that needed dusting. There was a thick layer of dust on top of the microwave under various items. I dropped an egg on the kitchen floor, the paper towel I used to clean...

"We absolutely love the Overlook cabin. It’s nestled into a very quiet court on the Stanislaus river. There are so many things to do in the area. We enjoyed the lake, hiking, fishing, river walks, and having a beautiful place to relax in. The overlook had all of the amenities we needed. Sitting on the deck in the early mornings watching the sun come up over the river, priceless."
