Neo Hacienda is a newly constructed, modern home with many old time elements of a traditional hacienda. Ideally located close to Sonoma's historic plaza yet in a quiet and secluded world of its own. 2300 sq. ft. of indoor living space is complimented with an 800 sq. ft. inner courtyard featuring a fire pit, gas barbecue and outdoor furniture. There is also a swimming pool and guest house that sits above the beautifully manicured lawn and rock garden. The home combines the best of today's indoor/outdoor living styles; from the many patios and courtyards to the outdoor redwood shower, this modern hacienda is the perfect way to relax and entertain in Sonoma's historic wine country. We are also a 10 minute walk from the famous, Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa.

Great stay 1.5 miles from Sonoma Square
We had a great time as a group of 3 couples. House is in an excellent location about a 1.5 mile walk from the square. The walk is lovely as you take a bike path. Host easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had trouble with A LOT of flies by the pool (ended up buying fly traps) but at least they didn’t bite lol.

Amazing place to stay!
This property is incredible! I stayed here with friends for a weekend while visiting wineries in Sonoma. The house is incredible and the backyard is perfect for hanging out and swimming. 10/10 and would book this property every time I am in Sonoma! Thank you again for the great hospitality!

Beautiful house and gorgeous grounds! Great location close to the Square but far enough away in a very quiet neighborhood with a feeling of privacy due to the large trees and bushes. Large enough to easily accommodate 8 people with a very well equipped kitchen. Loved having drinks on the patio with the gas fire pit in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again!

Great house with private backyard
We stayed at the house for three nights while visiting Sonoma for my daughter's thirtieth birthday. The 3 bedroom house is very comfortable for six of us, with an additional private pool house that sleeps two. The backyard is private with a gas fireplace and beautiful pool, which we sadly could not use because of the cool wet weather during our mid February stay. We loved this house, and would happily stay here again during a future Sonoma visit.

Perfect home for a group!
We had the most wonderful time in this home! We had a group of 8 for a girls getaway and had so much fun enjoying the firepit, lounging around and the location was secluded enough but still close to attractions. Highly recommend!

Family Wine Tasting Vacation
Quiet location that fit our 7 family members perfectly. Cooking together was a pleasure in the large, well laid out kitchen. We also enjoyed tasting our wines around the firepit at the end of the day. Beautiful grounds!

The Modern Hacienda worked out perfectly for our group of four couples. Todd was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Check in/out was very easy and house instructions were clear. We were out and about exploring the area most of the time but enjoyed the pool in the afternoon and a quiet night cap by the fire in the evenings. Great find!

The POOL! Nice and warm on those hot days in April. The location was great and central to groceries, gas, and wineries! The hiking/walking trails were so cool. Just walk out of the front door and find a trail. We will be back!

The setting was like being in a Nancy Meyers movie. The patio, backyard landscaping, pool and casita make this property very charming and private. While in a neighborhood you felt secluded. We wanted to be close to the Sonoma square so this was a prefect walkable location. The home is spacious and accommodated our family of 8 very nicely.

great home and location
We had 5 family members together for a 4 day Thanksgiving stay. The home is comfortable and larger then the photos indicate. It felt spacious. The outdoor patio is great. We cooked our Thanksgiving dinner and all the essentials were available. The location was great for us. It is about a 1 mile walk to the town and over half of this is via a paved biking/walking trail. The home itself is in a very quiet neighborhood other then a nearby rooster that served as our alarm clock. We plan to return.

What A Gem!
The property was beautiful! Loved the decor, both inside and out! Eight ladies came to celebrate birthdays and we would definitely return to the Hacienda! The pool and fire pit were great ways to relax with a glass of wine. I highly recommend going on the Sonoma Bike Tour! The half day winery tour on the e-bikes was amazing!

Your Own Private Resort
We stayed fir a long weekend with our 3 adult children and significant others.We travel a good bit and this was one of our favorite properties ever. The property is lovely with incredible decor and landscaping. Start your day with a walk through the nearby trail leading to a state park and the Vallejo House. After a day of exploring Sonoma, return to this hacienda for an afternoon swim and then dine out or cook in. Finish your evening with wine and great conversation around the fire pit. Beds, linens and towels await fir a great night’s sleep. We will return!

Nice location to Sonoma wineries & restaurants
Home is as pictured and described online. We had a very nice stay after trouble getting into the property. There was not access per the owners instructions and luckily we were able to resolve it and get started on our stay. The house, yard, and fire pit were all nice. One note, the bath towels our limited and no kitchen towels. Overall though a very nice stay.

The Best Stay in Sonoma
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sonoma Hacienda. We were five Adults and three children under five and we each had our own spaces and were very comfortable. The home was very inviting, with a design and orientation that allowed it to stay cool even in the hottest days without AC - although the bedrooms do have AC if needed. It was located a short distance to the wonderful town square. We also enjoyed the outdoor space for dinner and drinks and the pool was a joy for all with a shallow end for the children. The dinning room was able to open up to the outdoor space by a trifold door, giving us a wonderful indoor - outdoor environment for our meals. The kitchen was very well equipped and all of the appliances worked well. In all we have never had such a lovely home in which to vacation with our family - we highly recommend it for your family!

Family Catchup!
My daughter and I flew in from Boise and met my sister from Cincinnati, who was in the area for a conference. We were joined by my nephew and his girlfriend from San Francisco. We had plenty of space and privacy, but wanted to hangout in all of the awesomely decorated shared spaces. There was an issue with an electrical outlet in the master bedroom, but the owner was quick to give guidance on a fix and when that didn't work, he had his handyman there shortly to solve the problem. We cooked breakfast and found the kitchen to be well stocked with the necessary hardware. Our only regret is our weekend was the one of the atmospheric river of rains and cut into our enjoyment of the beautiful backyard and patio. So we are hoping for a mulligan sometime during sunnier skies!

Amazing Yard | Great For Dogs
We booked this house for my wife's birthday and checked out after the first night. The yard is lovely, our dogs loved it. The landscaping is stunning. As noted in several other reviews here the house needs some deep cleaning and considerable home maintenance. We called Todd about the issues on the second day when we were literally packing our bags to leave. He sent the cleaners and handyman over immediately before he told us they were coming. We turned them away because our baby was napping. Due to the issues, Todd refunded us for the nights we did not stay. We rented another house nearby that was amazing.

Great house, lovely location
Great property although it would have been nice to have more recommendations for places to eat or hikes. Also, the house could use some TLC. The bathroom was infested with ants, mold spot on wall, caulk is coming off along bathtub and kitchen sink. There were minimal cooking supplies like oils and seasonings. For the price we paid I expected it to be higher quality with better amenities. Couldn’t get Apple TVs to work in either room, Sonos wouldn’t hook up to our phones. Little things like that throughout the house. Otherwise, it’s a nice looking property but could use some maintenance.
