Residing in the upscale Powderhorn Lodge, this condo offers unbeatable access to over 70 ski runs and other activities like horseback riding, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and more. If you're looking for activities off the mountain, look no further than Club Solitude, which sits on the first floor of the building and offers a family-friendly game room, pool and foosball tables, a fitness center, a sauna, and a pool area with a hot tub. The complex also includes access to its own community hot tub.

Warm and inviting with wood and stone accents, comfortable furnishings, and modern conveniences including WiFi, DVD, and cable-equipped television, this condo is the perfect respite at the end of a long day spent in the great outdoors. There's also a storage locker for all of your winter gear, as well as an underground heated parking facility.

Come home to snuggle with a loved one by the living area's fireplace, or take a nap on the comfy sectional couch. You could also kick your feet up on the leather ottoman and flip on the wall-mounted flatscreen to enjoy an afternoon movie or TV show.

Later, soothe any aching muscles with a dip in the ground floor's heated pool and hot tub, or explore Club Solitude's plethora of amenities.

When you come home hungry, quickly and easily whip up a fresh feast using modern appliances, varied cookware, and ample granite countertops in the full kitchen. Share stories and laughs with your group at the six-seat dining table, or head onto the expansive deck for alfresco dining.

At the end of a satisfying day in the great outdoors (or just relaxing at home) get restful sleep in either of the two bedrooms. There is a king bed in one room and a king bed plus a twin bunk bed set in the other bedroom. A sofa bed adds space for your final two guests.

A mecca for outdoor sports and wilderness activities galore, Solitude Mountain offers year-round opportunities to commune with nature, from seasonal wildflower hikes to snowshoe excursions, stargazing, trail hiking, four-wheeling, and much more. But being close to Salt Lake City also has its perks - go just 29 miles northwest to find museums, professional sports arenas, Mormon-influenced landmarks, and eclectic shopping and dining options.

Perfect location
Fabulous place to stay and the configuration worked great for our party but VACASA was terrible. If you had a question you were routed to India and their long waits for non-English speakers who only take you questions with promises to call you back - this is not helpful if you are locked out...

Room is great, property mgmt company not so much
The condo and amenities were great. Underground parking is a really nice feature, also. Our only frustration was with the property management company, Vacasa. The check-in process was confusing but could’ve been made much simpler with better instructions.

Nice condo in great location; unable to reach property manager
Two-bedroom condo with a full kitchen and gas fireplace. Master bedroom includes good-sized bathroom, with a tub and plenty of counter space. The people in the other bedroom share a smallish hallway bathroom with a shower only and little counter space. Convenient parking in the basement. We had trouble getting the keys the first night when we arrived late in the frigid cold, and no one picked up the phone at Vacasa (the property management company) - 20 minutes of being on hold and hearing a recording saying someone would be right with us, until we gave up and eventually figured out where the keys were. We wanted to speak with the local Vacasa office on checkout day, but couldn't reach anyone. The people answering the 800-number (sounded like a call center in the Philippines) wouldn't give me the local number. I managed to reach a call center in the U.S. and they wouldn't give me the local number either. We drove by the office on the way out to drop off the keys and it looked empty.

Ski-in / ski-out
Nice rental - but clearly a rental. There were more than a handful of little things that did not work - and the pull-out couch was not usable. We just rolled with it, thinking no big deal; it's a rental. But I was a little surprised afterward when they contacted me to claim we had broken something when the reality was that so many minor things did not work when we arrived. With that said, I e-mailed them back that the item was broken when we arrived (it was) and they responded favorably. So it all worked out. Location was great. The skiing was fun.

Delightful gem right in the center of charming Solitude Village!
We were literally steps from all the restaurants in Solitude’s village. We could put our skis on right outside our building’s entrance and we were on our first chair lift within 30 seconds! In the evenings we could see all the beautifully lit trees in the village out of every window, we felt like we were staying in a magical snow globe! We shared fun family game nights after our days on the slopes. 7 of us shared this space quite comfortably! So charming and lovely! We visit Solitude once a year, and we have absolutely found our new favorite place to stay!!! Thank you and see you next year! - The Texas Snowbunnies

Dated. In need of an update.
The location of the property was great, but this property is in desperate need to a remodel. The shower doors and shower fixtures need replacing. The carpet in some areas is frayed. The TV in the master is an old picture tube CRT television in an armoire. The TV in the 2nd bedroom is the newest TV in the house, but had a horrible grainy picture and the color wasn't working. The main room television had an okay picture and had a VHS/DVD combo. I can't remember the last time I saw a VHS tape... Bottom line, spend some money updating the unit, buy new flat screen wall mount TVs for all rooms and get some Blu-ray players and/or Smart TVs.

Very nice, convenient, clean, well appointed, comfortable
We had a great experience! The ease of getting into the unit, proximity to the club, slopes a short walk and plenty of places to eat. We had to buy a new filter for the humidifier which was not supplied nor would they purchase for us. When we got to the unit there was coffee in the coffee maker and mold on the grounds. Other than that the unit was clean and had everything we needed.
