I called the Casa “safety concern” line and no one picked up until the third time we called and had been on hold for a total time of about 40 minutes.
We came back to the cabin and the garage door opener was not working (this unit only has a garage entrance and entrances on a 2nd story balcony). We’ve used the garage opener multiple times prior and were utilizing the correct code. I’m not sure if the pad wasn’t working or the battery died or something. A video is attached.
We were left locked out of the cabin in 28 degree weather with a winter storm warning. After being on hold on the “safety concern” line for prolonged time I had to scale up the side of the building to the second floor, where I found one of the balcony doors unlocked (we had not used the doors meaning it was unlocked when we arrived), which is an additional safety issue. If I had been less mobile we would not have been able to access the cabin at all.
Someone finally picked up our third safety concern call after being on hold for 20 minutes (again). Jerry was very helpful and said he would report this to the local team.
This is both dangerous and unacceptable. The circumstances merit substantial financial compensation. I look forward to hearing back.
