Great Place!
We had a wonderful time! Great fishing & kayaking. Very peaceful and relaxing place with a beautiful view. This is the second time we have stayed at one of Kim's Properties. Can't decide which place we liked the most. We will definitely be back!

Awesome location

Nicely secluded property with everything you need for a great stay. Kitchen had everything you need and fishing wasn't great but it was fun. Sitting on the porch in the morning with coffee relaxing. Owners are very responsive to questions and quick to help with any problems. We would stay again!

This home is clean and a beautiful place to stay. Very quiet and secluded with your own dock to enjoy. The sunrises are breathtaking! My only complaint would be the beds aren't all that comfortable but everyone has different opinions on bed comfort. 😁

Private, waterfront getaway!
Close enough to Beaufort, Morehead, Harker's Island, etc., but private setting too! Best of both worlds. We kayakers from the rock, but definitely no walk into the water (grasses, oyster shells). Plenty of room in the house for us two. Basically stocked kitchen met our needs. Thanks for being per friendly!

Great house on the water
We were a group of five there for a fishing trip. Really enjoyed the house, private setting with only a couple of neighbors close by. House as well appointed with Kitchen ware and nice linens Very nice private dock in the backyard going out into the sound, but it is almost impossible to launch a kayak from the dock because it is a little high above the water. I plan to come back to this home again.

Property is a quiet, beautiful, relaxing spot on the water. Close to Atlantic Beach, Harkers Island Etc with a short drive. On a scale of 1 to 5 i would give it a 10. Above and beyond my expectations and cant wait to go back. Checklist of important numbers are at the property and if you have a question owner or manager gets back to you promptly. Many Many thanks for an amazing vacation.

End of July Getaway
Property was just as described and more. The house has everything you need and the comfortable beds are a plus! The location was perfect for me and husband and our 2 year old son because it was secluded and private. We also enjoyed the local park and food takeout from George’s just 3 minutes from the house. I wish we had better luck with fishing but maybe next time. Lovely home and beautiful views of the sunrise. The dock has a bench to sit and enjoy the breeze.

Escaped reality
The property was perfect, better than the photos. The area is very isolated but on a very calm body of water where we enjoyed fishing off the dock . We didn't have much luck other than a sand shark and a few Skates. Our host was very helpful to assist us with a small AC issue that we fixed right away. the neighbors were very friendly and gave us some good advice about things to do in the area. Overall I give our stay a 5 out of 5 stars.

Great Stay Beautiful Property
Beautiful sunrises every morning ! Had a great time. the home was very clean and well kept. Everything you need for a great stay. Nice breeze on the back porch The crabbing was fantastic this week ! Plenty of blue crabs daily. Lots of bait fish and shrimp for fishing. Quiet and peaceful setting only a few houses closeby with very nice neighbors. Beaufort and Morehead city about 15 minutes away. So many things to do in this area !! We reccommend a drive to Cedar Island for the views, and Shackleford banks Island for great Shelling. Casting nets for shrimp right up the road. . Fort Macon for a beautiful beach trip. Would definitely stay here again !!

Comfortable with scenic views
Overall the property was very comfortable and well-stocked. The only thing we missed was an ice maker. Be prepared to buy bags of ice if you need to fill a cooler. The beds slept well and the neighbors, while close, were very quiet. It was centrally located to the surrounding attractions and we had good luck fishing for red drum from the porch! As mentioned by another visitor it is a bit of a drop from the dock to the water but we were able to make it work with our kayaks during high tide. One dock has a ladder for water access.

Quiet peaceful getaway
Can't say enough great things about our time at this home and our hosr, Kim. Thank you for working with us on our schedule due to the unfortunate events of the hurricane in our home town. Your home was so clean and welcoming and much needed peace. We enjoyed fishing and crabbing at the dock and sitting on the back poarch watching sunsets. Definately a top spot for our future!
