Room is wonderfully comfortable, and after you arrive and clean up, you can stroll the well-apointed and preserved rooms and hallways. We did not try the restaurant for dinner as we wanted to try places in town, but the breakfast was stellar. When booking here and driving, you may want to get directions from the hotel if you're driving in at night as the local streets can be a bit challenging to navigate and are one-way, but no biggie. "

"Very nice hotel. The location is excellent and free parking as well. You can take the hiking trail to Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira. Beautiful and interesting garden. Great breakfast and beautiful dinning room The reception staff is very helpful."

However, the real highlight was the reception team. They went above and beyond to assist us with a few challenging issues, resolving everything with ease.
