"The pluses: The house is close to several good restaurants, with The Fresh Market very close by. The deck was lovely, the queen-sized bed was comfortable (we didn't try the other beds, so can't comment) and the jetted tub was fun. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished. The backyard is fenced securely enough for a big dog to run free, but there are many places for a little dog to get into trouble (e.g., under the deck) or slip out. All the appliances we used worked great and the kitchen is adequately stocked, although more glasses, plates, and flatware would have been helpful. The air traffic overhead was noisy, but nowhere near loud enough to interrupt conversation, even outside.Minuses: The electrical has not been updated so many/most of the outlets were loose, which made it challenging to charge our electronics. The house is a little shabbier on the outside than shown in the pictures, with some loose bricks in the walkway, yet still charming. But there were definite cleanliness issues: the windows and windowsills were very dirty, as were the storm doors. I kinda freaked out when I found a dead cockroach by the master bedroom closet, and our terrier went crazy every late afternoon/evening because a rodent has apparently taken up residence in the jetted tub surround. I called and messaged the owner about the latter issue, which he acknowledged a few days later but nothing was done about it during our nine-day stay."

"Memphis is our family’s new meeting spot because our children moved there and are having our first grandchild. We gathered from 5 different states and this house was hands down our favorite any of us have stayed in. It was roomy, new, well decorated, well lit outside and on a cul-de-sac. Highly recommend!"

"The house is everything it indicates in the listing. Very charming house and was perfect for what we needed in Memphis. Close to great restaurants and coffee shops. The neighborhood is quaint and friendly. "

"We enjoyed staying here. Check in process was easy and had great communication. The pictures were accurate and was clean. The only issue was the weekend was very cold and we had trouble regulating the upstairs temperature versus the downstairs (the downstairs was cold and upstairs very warm). Cracking the upstairs window helped. Other than that a very pleased. "

"This property was everything advertised and then some. Great kitchen to prepare meals, nice sized living room along with 3 bedrooms! This place was within minutes of Beale St, Sun Studios and many BBQ locations. Did not have a bad meal while here. Shout out to Kimble for accommodating me arriving a day early due to inclement weather coming in.I would definitely stay here again."

"The property was great -- spacious, comfortable, great local vibe & in a very, very quiet location. No one sleeps great in a strange place on a strange bed, but I gotta say, the beds were magic! So comfortable, great linens & duvets. There were some maintenance issues, but at this price point & taking into account all the positives, they did not detract. Would definitely return & stay here."
