"I have booked Marriot first but then my wife suggested this to Drury Inn based on our previous experience in Florida 5 years back. So I rebooked this and it saved $$ compared to Marriot and room, break fast and Evening Snacks was a surprise. Overall very good experience and I would suggest every one to try this hotel if visiting Birmingham."

"Anytime im in birmingham i try to book here because of the safe location, the clean rooms and the workers are always nice. My only complaint is the price for such a basic room that doesnt offer a microwave nor complimentary breakfast as other hotels that are cheaper even have those free services."

"Good property overall, but our room had a noisy under-window HVAC unit that woke me up in the middle of the night 2 nights in a row because it randomly started to chatter, sounding like mini chopper. If you turn it off, you start to feel cold. I also don't like the bathroom curtain which maintains moisture & doesn't feel good when it touches your skin. The TV has no means for casting from your phone/tablet so you can see this like Netflix/Hulu/etc. so you're stuck watching whatever shows that...

"Was a terrible ice storm, and the staff was fabulous. Many of them had stayed in the hotel themselves to make sure the guests were attended to the reception was well stocked, and the attitudes and behavior were awesome for the stranded travelers."
