Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. "For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. Vitres, rideaux jamais nettoyés, la cuisine est crasseuse, de la graisse et de la crasse depuis plusieurs années. "This is a beautiful traditional style French house of the region. It is a bit rustic in places, but absolutely packed with charm and character. The location is amazing - what you see in the photos is exactly how it is. The river is a 60-second walk away with easy access in and out of the water. The village is pretty, quiet and within 10 minutes drive of a E.Leclere supermarket and the main road. The house is spacious, has bags of character, has a fabulous outdoor space with chairs, sun-loungers...

"Nous avons loué cette maison pour passer une semaine entre amis avec des enfants de 2 et 3 ans. On a juste été surpris sur la 6e chambre, qui est en fait le palier du 2e étage sur lequel il y a un canapé lit. Sinon la maison est super bien équipée. Tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner et profiter. "Well done to Marion and her team. They have booked us Taxis, made us Pizzas, provided local information for buses, shops and restaurants, supplied extra towels and a hairdryer. The continental style breakfast is good value in price, and the facility is clean and well managed. Everyone has spoken English, been polite, friendly and professional. This may be called a Hotel Ibis “Budget”, but it has high standards and all the staff work hard. Room 307 is at end of the corridor. It is a good size with separate shower (fabulous) and toilet."

Perfect stay in wonderful surroundings

"Our family had such an amazing stay at this property. The location is wonderful as surrounded by vineyards and nature in a lovely quiet setting. The house is perfect for families, spotlessly clean, spacious and plenty of facilities for young children. There was a collection of toys, paddling pool, sun loungers, bbq, table tennis to name just a few. The rooms are so comfortable and had a great sleep. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. Location wise, we are very close to Soussac for local shops and a wonderful restaurant and Bergerac only being a 30-40 min drive. The hosts are a delight and was amazing at helping us check in as we arrived late at night due to delays. We could not have had a more enjoyable holiday at the gîte and will return for sure."
