Beautiful surroundings
Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Very quiet area and beautiful views from the cottage. The drive down the 1 mile track to the property was a bit daunting at first as I don't like heights. Beware the potholes. Both coast and countryside in the local area is stunning. Beer being our favourite.

Tranquil and beautiful property
Tranquil and fairly remote, but with great access to surrounding Seaton, Sidmouth, Beer and Lyme Regis. Would recommend this property.

Lovely dog friendly cottage, very clean however you do not have use of the 60 acres as advertised, there is a woodland walk from the cottage up the lane, I have very active Springers so not enough for them, however you are central to drive to beaches & walks in the woodlands, I can recommended the Ship & Harbour pubs in Axmouth, the Ship does excellent food with a large garden. Rosemary is lovely nothing is too much trouble, and her warm cream tea on arrival was appreciated. Overall would visit again very quiet & secluded. We really enjoyed our week at Maple Tree Cottage.
We really enjoyed our week at Maple Tree Cottage. It is very secluded and peaceful with a pleasant aspect looking out over the fields at the back. We also appreciated the cream tea and other goodies in the welcome pack when we arrived and Rosemary was very helpful in finding any additional items we needed. Although the access lane is narrow there are plenty of passing places and even the Waitrose delivery van didn't have any problems getting down there. We liked it so much that we have already booked another week. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We loved Maple Tree Cottage.
We loved Maple Tree Cottage. Having 2 dogs, this was a perfect, rural location and the dog walks in the woods right outside the door of the cottage were ideal. Plenty of them to explore with lots of different areas to run through but don’t forget to check for Ticks but don’t let this put you off. Some people in the past have commented about the mile long drive off the road but for us this added to the attraction off the beaten track and it was in very reasonable condition. The cottage itself was well-stocked, clean and comfortable and Rosemary could not have been a more welcoming host, happy to check that all was to our satisfaction and yes, as others have said, her dog ‘Star’ is indeed happy to walk with you if you throw the stick for her !!! The cottage is well located for places such as Lyme Regis right along the coast through to Exmouth, Topsham and Exeter and even if travelling over to North Devon for a ‘Day Out’, that’s easily done in 90 minutes each way so definitely highly recommended.
