Our fenced-in backyard is ideal for dogs to relax in cooler weather and go off-leash.

Our quiet cabin is located in Bison Ranch, and backs up to Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. This cabin was a dream for us. It snowed so our visit required our being in doors but we found plenty of places to explore. Wild horses came right to back fence which we all enjoyed watching. Anxious to return this summer for fishing and horseback rides. A+ for this location

Amazing Cabin
We had a comfortable stay, we found everything we need in this Cabin, truly a home away from home. No dull moments it has games and puzzles to keep us entertained. We enjoyed the foosball games. The sightings of horses at the backyard was amazing. We stayed an extra 1 more night due to winter storm but end up to be the best vacation we ever have enjoying the snow falls. We had a great experience in this Cabin,all the memories that we will remember the rest of our lives.

This is an A+ property, we have rented this property 4 times and have never been disappointed. This year we even got to experience a full on cattle drive with cowboys right behind the property. Absolute Gem
We absolutely loved this cabin! The home was so clean and truly felt like “home away from home” for our kids. The hosts thought of pretty much anything you could need (from the kitchen to the bathrooms). The patio was one of our favorite spots. So peaceful! And seeing the Heber horses was such a special treat for our horse loving daughter. Our son spent hours fishing and bug catching. It truly was such a special trip for our entire family!

Best view in the area
We were very pleased with the home. It is true, there are really wild horses wandering beyond the fence line! We stayed here for several days and saw the horses every day. My favorite part was sitting on the back deck, it was incredibly peaceful, no noise but nature. It was nicely equipped with pots and pans for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the open floor plan made it feel spacious enough for our family. We had a little incident away from the home and were grateful to even find a small first aid kit. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay!

So Clean!
I appreciate a nice clean rental home and do my best to keep it that way. It felt just like home. Lots of spices to use for cooking and well equipped kitchen. I loved the magnifying makeup mirror and beautiful shower in the master bath. Our grandkids loved the foosball table and games. We saw so many horses and even a few cattle. Unfortunately it was incredibly windy the days we were there so we couldn't sit on the huge back porch for very long. The large picture window in the living room made for perfect indoor horse watching. We have friends in Heber who brought us some fishing poles so we tried our luck at the catch and release pond. No fish but the kids enjoyed the playground. We hope to return.

Welcoming and relaxing getaway
We rented the Willow's Retreat to celebrate Christmas with our daughter and her husband and to explore the area. Upon checking in we found the cabin to be just as advertised and more. The wild horses even made an appearance right after we'd checked in! The Christmas decorations made us feel right at home for the holiday and really gave the cabin a nice welcoming touch. There was even a Christmas tree for us to put our presents under. The cabin was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and everything needed to make our Christmas dinner. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. Marc and Eve were very responsive to any questions we had, and we appreciate their follow up after we'd checked out to make sure we'd had all we'd needed at the cabin. Wonderful home, wonderful setting, wonderful time!
This home truly is a home away from home. First, the location is awesome, with a wonderful view of the open forest from the large family room window. It has a huge back porch with lots of space for outdoor enjoyment. Inside, it has a large kitchen/family room area that makes it comfortable for the whole family to be able to interact, even while making meals. We celebrated Thanksgiving there, and they had every dish, pot and pan we needed. The kitchen is well-stocked, and they even had some condiments and other items we needed and had forgotten to bring! The three bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The whole home was very clean, modern and kept up well. The owners have definitely tried to think of everything you might need, and then they've added little things to just make it feel like home. From games to video access, to hand lotion by the sink and welcome treats on the kitchen table, we just felt really welcome and pampered. Marc and Eve were great at communicating information we needed, and treated us as welcome guests. We definitely will come back!

Love the Wild Horses!
This is a fantastic property! What really makes it special is that the property backs up to open land where you can see wild horses. We saw them all three days during our stay. Bison Ranch is an adorable neighborhood. The Wild Women Saloon at Bison Ranch has great pizza and a fun atmosphere. We are so glad we stayed here and will probably stay again in the future.

So Serene!
My sisters and I enjoyed a few days of relaxing in this wonderful cabin (with all the amenities) that backed up to a beautiful national forest where we sat out on the back porch every morning, drinking our coffee and watching the wild horses come and go! We were in Overgaard visiting family/friends and wished we could have taken more advantage of the cabin peacefulness. We enjoyed near by restaurants and everyone we met was so friendly! The owners were quick to respond to any of our inquiries. We would definitely stay there again!

Wild horses and afternoon thunderstorms--sheer delight!
Property is as advertised. Cabin faces a private street. Back of cabin faces wide open land. The back porch runs the length of cabin and would accommodate your entire party for relaxing and meals and has both lighting and fans. Interior of cabin is nicely decorated. Dining table with four chairs with two stools at kitchen bar area. Seating in living room is a large sectional couch and a separate chair. Kitchen is fully stocked and there is a separate pantry. Neighborhood consists of private cabins and is very quiet. There are more than a few local restraunts but be aware they tend to close by 8 pm (or earlier in the case of some of the diners) and they have differing days off during the week. Welcome book on the kitchen counter is very helpful. There is great hiking within a 20-minute drive of the cabin. However, there are several hikes available within a five-minute drive of the cabin at the Tall Timbers Park. Highly recommend those hikes to those seeking a more lightweight pleasurable hike.
