Only potential downside to mention is that if it is snowy or icy, it can be very difficult to get up and down from the house. But the owner was very responsive in trying to help us out. "Stayed here for a short weekend getaway in winter, absolutely gorgeous place. Off the beaten track, but easy enough to get to some fun places around. House was cozy as you can ask for, wood stove, wood paneling, comfy bed and a couch you can doze off while listening to the fire crackling. Do be aware that you're not in a very good cell-signal area, as we got a bit turned around heading around the nearby park, and some of the "roads" marked on Google Maps are actually snowmobile trails that Google thinks are roads. The manager supplied a lot of great maps which helped a ton. Highly recommend Drooly Bear!"
