"Nice"

"We enjoyed the balconies that overlooked the main street. I appreciated the outdoor smoking areas. The staff were all courteous and friendly. Loved the oversized room and bathroom. Unfortunately, the breakfast could have been a little better. The sausages were overcooked and the mini muffins tasted like they had been out a few days longer than they should have or thawed out of freezer burn. The bananas were pretty bruised up as well. The other food choices were fine, though. "

"I think the property is very nice. Our stay was very welcoming. Bev was friendly at the front desk! Since there were a bus of kids from another party, the hotel hires a security guard which is really nice. Pros: good breakfast, loved the set up and the fact you can see the battlefield from the breakfast area. The place was clean. Pool was warm for kids and pool bathroom was large and clean, beds were comfy. Cons: could use a clock in the pool area. The main floor bathroom is a bit dangerous as it’s heavy and closes fast, but it is large and clean. We would definitely stay again! "

"We were there just one night. Excellent place and breakfast. The area around it is nothing much, but downtown Carlisle and the beautiful Dickinson college is a short two-mile drive away and a great place to explore on foot. Excellent (!) breakfast. Beautiful fixtures in the room."
