« Visiting Clarkes is like stepping back in time. The architecture of the building makes such a refreshing change from the modern hotels of concrete, glass and over the top air conditioning. Our room was lovely and was beautifully furnished and the public areas of the hotel were also thoughtfully presented. Although some people might find it a little formal, the staff were friendly and polite without exception. We would stay there again without hesitation. »

« Access to the mall is the only plus. Furnishings in the rooms are outdated and dirty. I never sat in a sofa before that has no back cushions to support you. No convenient electrical outlets to plug electronics or bedside medical devices like CPAP. Breakfast is same old average tasting buffet. No parking. « In the site of Expedia it is mentioned that the location of the hotel is in Shimla But the hotel is far away even 15 KM away from kufri. The rooms are not good the flush of the toilet is not functioning we have to wait more than an hour to got it repaired .
