wonderful short stay!
wonderful hotel staff at JW Marriott and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. i left a note at time of booking saying that it is our honeymoon. although we only stayed for a night, hotel staff made it special for us by decorating the room and sending a cake to us. room was good size and clean, a little dim though. i believe it is conveniently located, getting deliveries was very easy as well. special thanks to Sue Su who was extremely kind and gave me a heatpack when we checked in.

In general we were satisfied with the customer service of hotel staff, they were nice and helpful. Bathroom and the quality of shower gel, shampoo were very good. However, the air-con of our room had problems which was not cool enough, hotel changed another room for us and got improved. Will be back again Before I go on with my review, I want to specially say my thanks to: 1) Alisa cui in the Reception, 2) Cindy in the reception for letting me experience a 1st class Hospitality. Stayed three nights at the JW Marriott Shenzhen. Excellent Titanium membership recognition, being upgraded to their corner suite(best available room). Nice food spread at the executive lounge. Located in Futian CBD, the hotel is only a 5-minutes' walk from the metro and with easy access to many local amenities. The rooms are a bit tired but well kept, making us feel that rooms are well-appointed and designed in a humanistic way. All in all, the hotel is a delight in Shenzhen, Would definitely stay here again.

Room is clean and spacious. Location is good as it is near to the MTR. The only thing is that if you are taking line 11 then be prepared for a long walk inside the MTR station. Other than that it is only one station away from the high speed train station so quite convenient. The overall experience is good except the very last day when my mood got spoiled by a very rude staff in the hotel men’s room! The manager who handled my complain worked professionally so that made my overall experience better.

Okay hotel but not up to par
Not up to par with the 5 star and price. Overall it’s an okay hotel to stay at, but on the older side, coffee machine was not provided in room. Service was mediocre. 2 people stayed in the room, but only 1 pair of slippers were provided,etc. Room is dated and some furniture have obvious scratch and chip on it. Location is good. Breakfast is on the simple side, nothing special. Would expect more with the price paid and as a JW standard, need some upgrade for sure.

Check in at 5pm but told me the executive floor room that i booked has been sold out and asked me to downgrade to normal floors but still grant me executive lounge access. very disappointed about this arrangement as overbooked is not my issue and how could you ask the guest to downgrade but not upgrade instead since it’s your internal issue of the arrangement. waited at the checked counter for half an hour then give us a double bed suite. however, the double bed suite was poor in condition: 1. usb socket near the bed one was not working at all for both usb socket; 2. air con was unable to adjust and keep being 26’C even i switched to 18’C, it was too hot over the night and couldn’t sleep at all; 3. wifi in the room is poor and always unable to connect internet even i have connected to the hote wi-fi and i was almost using my own data roaming; 4. TV reception is poo also, some channels was unable to watch or not clear due to the reception issue I am the Marriott member and i would say this is the worst experience i ever hard in Marriott hotels
